Meeting Taylor for the first time I immediately felt she was a safe space, someone I could trust to be there for me in such an intimate time. This was my 3rd pregnancy, but my first high risk pregnancy.  My previous birth was traumatic resulting in an emergency cesarean section. I knew I needed support, someone to advocate for me this time around to achieve a VBAC. Without hesitation Taylor immediately jumped right in, asking me questions I had never thought of that helped prepare me emotionally, mentally, and physically. She was my voice in the hospital when I froze and needed support, and stuck by me when labor was at a stand-still keeping me focused and reminding me of what I could do. She was so kind hearted to my daughters, taking time to explain things to them! If we were to ever have another baby, Taylor would be my first call. Even my husband told all of his buddies about how amazing she was! We couldn’t imagine delivering without her, and I know she’s a huge part of my successful VBAC. She’s certainly worth her weight in gold.

My husband and I found Taylor through a facebook group. We had a very tight budget that we needed to work with. Taylor was so kind in meeting that budget, she did have to adjust some of her services for our rate, but we were completely okay with that and understood. Taylor has a quick response time and is so kind. During my labor she tried many different comfort measures to help aid me in my fast labor. For me, none of them worked. I learned that I like to be left alone during contractions. Taylor did AMAZING in trying different measures though, it was nothing to do with her. Even though I didn’t want physical comfort measures, she provided words of encouragement and was able to provide comfort in the form of words. She was attentive to my needs and was ready to help. Taylor was ready to help if needed when it was time to give birth as my baby came so fast my midwife wasn’t in attendance. After baby was here and we were settled at home, she was kind to check on us and made sure we were doing okay. I’m happy and pleased with the service and care Taylor gave us. I would definitely recommend her to other people! Thank you Taylor!

I have no idea where to even begin writing this review because Taylor was so amazing.  Her support enhanced my pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum experiences tenfold and I am so grateful to have had her by my side as my daughter came into the world. She helped me advocate for the birth that I wanted, and she was able to educate me on some alternative options when medical concerns about my baby's size arose. Her comfort techniques came in SO clutch during my labor and I thank God she was able to be my doula. Taylor was comfortable and easy to connect with and she truly made everything about my pregnancy journey better. I originally was on the fence about hiring a doula, but it was easily the most influential decision I made during my pregnancy. If I have any more children in the future she will be one of my first calls.  Highly highly highly recommend Taylored to You Doula Services!
