Janine was our lifeline during my labor. She came in when I was 2 cm and did a bunch of exercises with me, made me walk, encouraged me, and helped me do yoga stretches. She is knowledgeable about the whole birthing experience. She was so amazing that even nurses and doctors were praising how good of a doula she is.

She spoke up to our providers when they weren’t listening to what I needed and wanted for my labor. I had an interesting birthing experience. I was fully 10 cm dilated when my baby turned sunny side up, and I couldn’t handle the pain, the pressure, and I was extremely exhausted. Janine gave me encouragement and support when I felt like I didn’t have any power in me anymore. She pushed me to try harder, but unfortunately, I had to get a C-section.

Janine still stayed and waited to make sure I made it out of the OR safely and birthed my healthy 9 lb baby boy. She continued to check up on me, even to this day. I recently was rushed to the ER for postpartum eclampsia, during which Janine offered to send someone to help my husband at home with the baby, as I expressed my concerns about leaving my baby and my husband at home.

She continues to check up on me and my family. My husband and I would not have known anything if it weren’t for Janine. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a doula. Hospital staff praising her should be the number one green flag to look for as to why you should hire her.

I cannot recommend Janine Flores enough! She was an incredible source of support throughout my labor and delivery. From helping me with breathing techniques to providing comforting massages during labor, she was there for me every step of the way.

Janine constantly motivated and encouraged me when I felt tired and overwhelmed. Her calm presence, kindness, and reassurance helped me stay focused and confident during one of the most important moments of my life.

She was there when I gave birth to my son, and I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through the experience without her support. Having her by my side made such a difference, and I felt cared for, heard, and empowered throughout the entire process.
