Coming into it, I was definitely a little bit of a skeptic when it came to getting a doula, mainly because I didn't really think that I was gonna need one. Boy was I wrong!!!! The amount in the level of support, love and care, and presence that Samantha provided me during my labor was absolutely incredible. She provided her techniques as well as her very calming and soothing voice to help get me through everything. I honestly thought that my fiance would be more than enough for that part of labor. But there's something so much more that you as a woman, will relate to when it comes to femininity as well as another mom, during labor and delivery. Samantha was so patient, she was so kind and so gentle through the whole process and honestly, she made everything so much easier when it came to pain management! And just her sheer, beautiful presence is so calming! If you are getting a doula or you have been thinking about it, I would highly recommend samantha, because she truly surpassed everything I thought a doula could do for you when you're in labor ! Ten out of five stars ??????

Thank you so much Samantha for your loving, gentle kindness and support during my labor, you are truly a God's gift, And this is definitely the line of work that you should be in ??

Samantha was so incredible and I am so grateful that she was the one to be here to help bring our son into this world. Her kindness, wisdom, and empathy towards mama made all the difference. She arrived by request during early labor, and immediately began coaching and consoling my fiancée. As much as I was trying to help, it just didn't resonate the same way a fellow mom was able to get through and relate. Samantha was absolutely critical to ensuring a smooth delivery of our first son. God bless her!

Sam was absolutely wonderful! She prayed for our family, was supportive, calm, reassuring and knowledgeable. She gave opinion without ever pushing too hard and she was a huge reason why I can now look back on my birth with a sense of accomplishment. 

My birth story wasn't what I hoped for, 38 hours of labor is never something you anticipate. I went for over 26 hours at home on 3 hours of sleep because of intense back labor and I finally needed to transfer to the hospital. Sam was there coaching, helping, and affirming throughout the whole process and I could not have done as much of the work at home as I did without her. At the hospital she advocated, educated and cheered us on as I finally gave birth to Owen, our beautiful baby boy!!! 

She even came over afterwards to help us debrief about the birth and made me feel so much better about not completing my vision and dream of a home birth for Owen. The support, faith and love that we received from Sam was absolutely superb and I know the main reason I still gave birth vaginally was because of all that she did. Thank God for Sam! She truly was the angel and blessing that we needed!
