We feel so incredibly lucky to have found Lorena Monroy as our postpartum doula for our first child. From the very first moment we met her, she was immediately warm and welcoming, instantly putting us at ease during what can be an overwhelming transition for first-time parents.

On the nights Lorena came over, the sense of relief was immediate. We could finally rest peacefully knowing our little one was completely safe, cherished, and in the best hands. She is also extremely responsive and went above and beyond by helping us track our baby’s daily data on our tracking app, which made navigating those early weeks so much easier.

On a personal note, Lorena played a massive role in my physical and emotional recovery. I had been terrified of developing postpartum depression, and having her steady presence and care was a huge factor in preventing it. Thanks to her deep knowledge and continuous guidance throughout this process, we now feel confident and capable as parents.

Lorena takes exceptional care of the families she supports. I felt entirely safe and held during a vulnerable time, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for postpartum support.

We worked with Lorena during our first three weeks postpartum, primarily for overnight support, and having her help made a huge difference for our family. Those first few weeks with a newborn can be overwhelming and exhausting, and knowing that Lorena was there overnight allowed us to get much-needed sleep and made the transition into parenthood much more manageable.

Lorena was consistently warm, caring, and supportive. She listened to our preferences, was thoughtful about any feedback we gave her, and was always happy to answer our questions. She was also very responsive during the daytime whenever we reached out for advice, which we really appreciated.

Beyond helping us through the nights, Lorena shared practical advice that helped us feel more comfortable and confident taking care of our baby ourselves. Her guidance around feeding and newborn care was especially helpful as we figured out what worked best for our family and developed routines we could continue on our own.

We're very grateful to Lorena for all of her support during such an important time for our family. We would definitely work with her again and would highly recommend her to other families looking for postpartum support.

Having Lorena Monroy supporting our family alongside Paola was such a gift during pregnancy, birth, and the first days with our baby.

Even before our baby arrived, Lorena came to our home to teach us helpful techniques and prepare us for what was ahead. One of the sweetest moments was the special foot bath and massage she prepared for me while I was still pregnant. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made me feel deeply cared for, relaxed, and supported.

After our baby was born, Lorena also helped care for her overnight, giving us much-needed support and peace of mind during those exhausting first days. She was always kind, attentive, patient, and incredibly caring with both our baby and our family.

What I appreciated most was knowing that we were never alone. Whenever we had questions or concerns, Lorena was available by phone, ready to guide us and make us feel reassured and supported.

Her care is warm, thoughtful, and truly comes from the heart. We are so grateful for her presence, kindness, and dedication during such a special and vulnerable time in our lives. Lorena made this transition into parenthood feel lighter, safer, and much more supported, and we will always be thankful for everything she did for our family.

Lorena provides empathetic care for both mom and baby that is unmatched! Our baby had undiagnosed acid reflux and struggled to get to and stay asleep. Lorena's soothing energy and tangible care helped him to relax and sleep longer. She also offered me great advice for more effective bottles and other tools to ease his discomfort, as well as provided a listening ear for all the difficulties I was going through during her contract, including mastitis. She was a soothing and calming presence for us during a challenging postpartum time. We can't recommend her enough!

Lorena was a great help to us during the early weeks with our newborn. She’s super easy to talk to and very approachable, which made the late-night handoffs feel totally smooth. She took good care of the baby and stayed on top of things for me too—always making sure I had water, keeping my pump parts cleaned and ready, and bringing them over when needed. Having someone trustworthy in the house at night made a big difference, and we really appreciated having her support.

Paola, Lorena and Izabella helped us during my labor and postpartum (Feb 2026). 

Paola was present for my delivery and advocated for my health during the process. She guided and provided moral support and made sure that I was doing well emotionally. 

Lorena was our backup birth doula (and along with Paola) who also educated us on childbirth during the 37th week of pregnancy, and helped me understand different labor positions and breathing techniques; and provided advice on how my husband can help in the process. We found Lorena to be very experienced and kind, she had a motherly presence for both me and my husband especially in early postpartum. We were very comfortable with her. 

Along with Paola, Lorena and Izabella also served as night doulas during postpartum.

They helped with our newborn baby by taking care of tasks such as feeding, burping and diapering. This allowed me as well as my husband to get some much-needed rest at night. I was able to recover with their help, Paola also recommended massage and helped with establishing breastfeeding / formula feeding (our baby is combo fed).  They also educated us about various topics as this was our first baby. Their guidance on different breast-feeding positions made me comfortable.

We found all three of them to be very knowledgeable, kind, and skilled. They were well organized and attentive, and were also very helpful with checking in on us and our well-being. They also wore a well fitted N95 mask at our request and were up-to-date with their vaccines and CPR. We were very impressed by their professionalism and would highly recommend each one of them.

We had Lorena as our postpartum night doula for a couple of nights per week for our first baby. She has a very calming energy. She was great with our baby and is very organized. She is very attentive to our baby’s needs and digestive issues she was facing during sleep. She helped put us at ease and know that our baby would be well taken care of during the night, affording us some good rest. She’s very personable and knowledgeable. We’d highly recommend her postpartum night services for your child.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Lorena! From the moment she started working with us, her optimistic, uplifting energy completely transformed our postpartum experience. She has a truly wonderful heart and a genuine desire to be of service, always prioritizing the well-being of both the parents and the baby. Every single time we asked for support, she was right there to deliver. What we appreciated most was her humility and openness to feedback—she truly just wants to do her absolute best for the families she works with. Most importantly, our baby absolutely loves her! When our contract was coming to an end, we realized we simply didn't know what we would do without her and her incredible support, so we immediately extended her contract for a few more weeks. Before working with Lorena I was hesitant to trust someone else with my brand new baby. I thought I would feel uncomfortable having someone care for him while I was home. I couldn't feel more differently after having Lorena's help and only wish I had it sooner! She does an incredible job at comforting and soothing my son who has reflux issues that make settling difficult. Her warm and caring energy made it so easy to trust her with him and I was able to get some very much needed rest. I would recommend Lorena 10/10 times!

I hired Lorena as my nighttime doula, and it was one of the best decisions I made for myself. She is incredibly caring, patient, and thorough with newborn care. From the very first night, I was able to sleep peacefully knowing my baby was in the right hands.

Lorena is very adaptable and attentive—she always listened to our preferences and followed our approach. When our baby developed reflux, she handled it with confidence and care, which gave us a lot of reassurance.

She is also extremely punctual and flexible with scheduling. Since our baby had a NICU stay and we didn’t initially know the discharge date, Lorena was very understanding and adjusted her schedule to accommodate our timeline.

Once she started, our baby quickly became comfortable with her during the nights. Having her support made a huge difference during those early weeks.

We feel very lucky to have gotten to work with Lorena—having her and Paola with us for 10+ weeks after our first daughter was born was a huge help. Lorena has a very warm and calm presence, and I felt very comfortable having her take care of me and the baby in my vulnerable and sleep deprived state. Our baby also took a lot of comfort in Lorena’s presence, and would instantly snuggle up to her when Lorena arrived to help out. In general, Lorena was very good at figuring out what to do to help settle our baby down, and our baby would often smile at her during the middle of the night diaper changes. It felt like the two of them had a real connection, and that Lorena was caring for our baby as she would her own. She also made sure to hold our baby upright for 20+ minutes after every feed to reduce any acid reflux issues and was very prompt and reliable. With Lorena’s help, our baby was sleeping 11 hours with either no wakeups or 1 wake up by 10 weeks. We would definitely work with Lorena again!

Lorena was a wonderful support for our family, and I’m so grateful for her care. As the backup doula to our main doula, she stepped in seamlessly, bringing the same warmth, patience, and expertise. We cannot be more grateful for Lorena. She is an exceptional doula. I had a difficult labor with a tough recovery, and I don’t think I could have made it through the first month postpartum without Lorena’s incredible support. She helped me get desperately needed rest especially during those tough first four weeks. I was hesitant at first at the thought of having someone else care for my baby, but all those fears immediately disappeared in meeting Lorena and watching her with our son.  We worked with her for 10 weeks caring for our newborn son and could not be happier. She was always on time and is extremely professional. Most importantly, Lorena loves children and is devoted to caring for them.  She wants the best for your baby and to help you in your parenting journey. Our son is a great sleeper thanks to her techniques and all the training and support she provided to us. She was so kind and supportive when I was struggling with breastfeeding at the beginning and dealing with postpartum hormones. She was non-judgmental of the choices we made as parents and respectful of our home. She was so loving and kind to our son. She would genuinely light up seeing him and was just as happy as us to see him change and grow. It was the absolutely, the best decision we ever made.  I will be forever grateful to have had Lorena be part of the first months of our son’s life and our family.

I had the privilege of being supported by Lorena Monroy during the birth of my baby and the postpartum period. She stayed by my side for 26 hours during labor, providing incredible emotional and practical support. Lorena used pain management techniques that made all the difference, and above all, she helped me stay calm and confident through every step.

In the postpartum period, Lorena continued to be essential, teaching me techniques like swaddling and helping me with lactation techniques more effectively and comfortably. The emotional support I received from her was invaluable, especially during such a delicate and transformative moment.
