Hello! I’m Doula Bethany, a first-generation Filipina Birth Doula and certified Yoga Instructor. I am here to help you to feel empowered, confident, and prepared in birth and beyond. I gladly cater my care to you and your unique family needs. What I enjoy most about my role as a doula is the impact that providing support can have on people’s lives. It’s amazing to me that when we provide the space for women to be listened to/cared for how our collective community thrives as a result. I can offer you a compassionate and understanding approach and hope that you feel listened to and at ease in my care. I look forward to supporting you and your growing family! I can offer prayer, meditation, and emotional support to anyone who may benefit from a more spiritual approach to birth and am happy to do so. Just like the mango fruit, birth and parenthood can be sweet and filled with the golden seeds of joy. I gladly offer customized care to you and your family so that you can enter into this season feeling more at ease and prepared for what is to come. I am a certified 200-hour trained Yoga Teacher and have years of experience in holistic health and wellness. I cater my care to you. Bethany was the best doula I could've asked for! Her calming presence and gentle suggestions throughout my third trimester, labor, and delivery were unparalleled in value. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to cope well with the pain of a natural birth, that I wouldn't know my body well enough to "be able to do it," and that I wouldn't be able to advocate for myself in a hospital setting. Bethany helped make space for talking through decisions made throughout the process labor, from beginning to end. She brought different foods (my love language) to the birth, such as warm bone broth, which I was able to sip throughout. She gave my husband the tools to be great support to me, and she took photos when baby was born! Postpartum, she has provided my family with delicious and nutritious homemade meals, teas, and snacks for breastfeeding, as well as abundant social and emotional support. I am forever grateful for Bethany!
