I cannot recommend Lana enough. Before she joined my birth team, I was incredibly anxious. It was my third birth, but my first home birth. about my first home birth. Knowing I had someone whose only job was to support me—someone who truly understood every stage of labor and birth—gave me so much peace of mind.
Even though this was my third birth, every birth is different. Having Lana by my side made the process so much less overwhelming and far less scary. She guided me through every stage and helped me feel empowered throughout the experience. She shared resources with me when I had to make some decisions to help guide me.
Throughout my pregnancy and labor, Lana checked in with me often, making sure I was comfortable with every decision and everything that was happening. It felt less like working with a professional and more like talking to a friend who genuinely cared about supporting me mentally and physically.
During labor, she was so in tune with my body, my emotions, and what I needed. She knew when to encourage me, when to reassure me, and when to simply be present. Her calm, compassionate support made such a difference and gave me confidence through every stage of labor.
When labor started I had some more fears and doubt coming up. I didn't even have to say anything—Lana could sense what I was feeling. She gently helped me work through my fears with reassurance and encouragement exactly when I needed it.
I'm so grateful for her care and support, and I truly feel like I've gained an invaluable friend. If you're considering hiring a doula, I can't recommend it enough. Having Lana at my birth made my experience more peaceful, supported, and empowering than I ever imagined.

I wasn't sure what it would be like to have another person in the delivery room during such an intimate and vulnerable time - but truly we couldn't have done it without the guidance, care, and support from Lana. We leaned on her during complications throughout the pregnancy, labor, and birth process and couldn't imagine navigating the whole experience without her. I say this as someone who is very well informed and was doing everything on my own to prepare for birth. Her experience and support was crucial during labor and for the birth of our son especially when we ran into obstacles that were challenging to navigate. My husband is a physician and Lana's support was paramount for him as well. Despite being in the medical field and knowing about the labor and delivery process, never having experienced it as a father offered a new host of challenges. Lana provided a compassionate, calm and informed approach. She advocated for us and was a sounding board for us when we had to make some difficult decisions. Being Muslim I so appreciated her faith playing such a huge role in the process as we made it known that was imporatnt for us as well. If you're on the fence as I was about hiring a doula I would say go for it!! Having that personalized support from someone who is informed and a calm steady voice makes all the difference even for the most prepared mother.

I feel so lucky to have met Lana! She helped me immensely with my pregnancy journey and the birth of my first child. I cannot recommend her enough to any mother, especially with their first child. I had no idea what pregnancy and giving birth was going to be like, and I couldn't have done it without her support and guidance. She is very knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and non-judgemental. She showed me exercises to help with my pregnancy pain, and spent so much time teaching me and my husband what to expect. During labor she stayed by my side and made me feel so safe, relaxed, and comfortable. Lana is an amazing doula and I would recommend her to everyone!

Working with Lana was one of the greatest gifts of my pregnancy and postpartum journey. She has cared for our family with such warmth, gentleness, and wisdom. Importantly, Lana was a source of light during one of the most vulnerable times in my life and went above and beyond in her support--from providing prenatal education, in-home visits, to managing our emotions during the birthing process. I felt held and empowered from pregnancy to birth. I’m endlessly grateful for her.

Lana was an amazing support system during my pregnancy and during birth. She made sure to inform my husband and I of everything including the birth, how to take care of our baby, and post patrum depression. It was amazing that she educated my husband and I about post patrum depression since it is not talked about that often. I truly did rely on her during the birth of my baby. Since her and I share the same faith it was more easier for me to connect with her and she was using Islamic practices to make sure I was calm during the pain. She is truly passionate about her work and she has a calming demeanor. My husband and I are truly thankful that we had Lana as part of our team during the birth. Plus she was also there after birth which is the toughest part especially for first time parents like my husband and I. Overall, I recommend Lana as a doula to anyone. She is more than amazing!

As a first time mom I don't know how I could have gone through labor without Lana. She has been a huge support since the day I met her, she wasn't just present during labor but also prepped me for it. She was the first person I called when my water broke and she was there with me during my long labor, when my contractions didn’t start she guided me, then when they finally started she held me, reminded me to breathe and made sure I was hydrated. My birth plan didn’t go exactly as planned but she helped me navigate through it. She made my birthing place such a calm space, she lit candles had essential oils and made sure it was a safe place for me. When finally it was time to push she was my biggest cheer leader. Lana is also a certified Lamaze instructor and she was my childbirth educator. I am so very grateful for her, my birthing experience would have been different without her.

This was my second pregnancy aiming for an unmedicated birth. I wasn't sure if I truly wanted or needed a doula the second time around. After meeting with Lana, I knew having her support throughout pregnancy and at my birth would be a gift. I am SO grateful I followed my intuition becauase I was right. Lana talked through with me any concerns or worries I had that came up during my pregnancy. She also promptly arrived at my birth, ready to support. Her presence was grounding and her hands on support was unmatched. She's a mom herself and her advice draws from her education + lived expereince. Lana is a gem in the doula community.
