I truly cannot recommend Rachel highly enough. This was my third baby and first home birth. From pregnancy through birth and into postpartum, her support was steady, compassionate, and deeply reassuring. She met me exactly where I was—emotionally, physically, and mentally—and helped me feel informed, empowered, and calm every step of the way especially going into 41 weeks of pregnancy.

I knew from the moment I met Rachel, she felt like a friend. I selected her as my doula for several reasons but her calm presence was among them. I was also really interested in her knowledge with Body Ready Movement. With planning a home birth and previous experience with my other children, preparing my body for labor was an additional benefit to Rachel’s services offered that stood out.

During labor and birth, she helped walked us through a very unpredictable and fast birth with such grace. She empowered me and my husband to feel confident of my body’s ability to meet my baby girl. Postpartum, her care was just as invaluable and felt like a friend coming to check on me. She consistently shows up with so much warmth and intention.

She is knowledgeable, intuitive, and truly called to this work. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her as part of their birth and postpartum journey.

We cannot say enough about our experience with Rachel! From the moment we found out we were pregnant, we knew that we wanted doula support. In our search for a doula we were looking for someone who was confident, supportive and aligned with our values. Someone that could help us navigate all the unknowns of our first pregnancy. We connected with Rachel immediately and knew that she checked all of our boxes. She was patient and kind when we learned that we would have to have a planned cesarean and worked with us to navigate a cesarean doula package for support. During our pregnancy, she was always a text or phone call away when we needed to talk through concerns or questions. Her prenatal meetings were thorough and productive, which helped us create a beautiful birth plan for our baby. She is extremely knowledgeable and was an amazing sounding board through our entire pregnancy. On the day of our birth, Rachel showed up bringing her amazing energy, helping us bring our birth plan to life. There is no one else we would of wanted in the room to welcome our sweet baby. She was present, attentive and advocated for us the entire day. We are so grateful for her and her doula services.

Rachel is incredible! My husband and I were deeply grateful to have her help and guidance throughout the end of my pregnancy and delivery day.

Rachel‘s consultative approach made us feel so informed, and mentally and physically ready heading into our hospital induction. Even with some parts out of our hands, we ended up with a delivery day even better than we had ever hoped for, in big part thanks to her guidance. Rachel brings such a steady and supportive, yet confident and experienced tone (even feeling like a true friend!)—exactly what you hope for in a Doula. We would recommend her without hesitation!

We had a wonderful experience with Rachel during our son's water birth at home. Throughout my pregnancy, she was very responsive and always took the time to answer my questions thoughtfully. She clearly has a strong passion for supporting proper function during pregnancy and birth, and it was reassuring to work with someone who cares so deeply about this approach.

During labor, she was completely respectful of our needs and never questioned us when we said we needed her support. She arrived promptly, stayed with us through the birth of our son, and provided calm, steady presence throughout the process. One especially thoughtful touch was bringing us our first meal in bed after the birth, which meant a lot during those first quiet moments as a new family.

After our son was born, she continued to check in regularly, making sure we were doing well and felt supported. We truly appreciated her care, attentiveness, and dedication, and we’re grateful to have had her as part of our birth team.

Rachel was knowledgeable, supportive & encouraging! Rachel equipped my husband and I with tools during labor to advocate for the birth we wanted and the support for us to have the natural birth. Her genuine care prenatal, during labor & postpartum were a huge help! We could not imagine doing it without her. We will definitely be asking her to help again for baby number 2.

Having Rachel as our doula for our first pregnancy/birth was amazing from start to finish! Her first time mom package helped equip me and my husband for achieving our birth goals of a physiologic birth (unmedicated). No birth goes exactly as planned but we got pretty close and having Rachel’s support made all the difference - she’s like family now.

I cannot reccommend Rachel enough! I needed a doula who could be both assertive as an advocate but soft and nurturing as a support. Rachel was BOTH!! What a dream combination! I loved pre-natal meetings with Rachel because she asked so many questions and made me feel so heard and seen. I had a confidence going into birth that my desires and hopes were understood and that she would fight for them with me! I was fighting for a VBAC with my second child and I am CONFIDENT that my goals would not have been reached without Rachel's support. (YAY SUCCESSFUL VBAC IN THE HOSPITAL!!!!!) She always knew how to step in and support whether that meant reading my birth affirmations with me, coaching me through different positions, letting Ryan sit with me alone, helping me with breathing, advocating for me with the hospital staff, and SO MUCH MORE. Rachel was the peaceful strength I needed in my birth and you would be so so lucky to have her there at yours! Rachel felt like so much more than a doula....it felt like having my sister and a warrior advocate at the same time. SUCH a gift! I cannot say enough good things!

I was so happy Rachel was my doula,  she is amazing. I knew that I was in good hands and so really wasn't scared (like I could've been) even when my delivery didn't go as I had hoped. It seemed like she had endless laboring positions and tricks, it really helped pass the time haha. She checked in with me and talked about how things were progressing and provided just the right amount of support. She stayed with me in the hospital all day and throughout the whole night, even while I slept. I truly mean it when I say I don't know what I would have done without her! After delivery she kept checking on me and the baby, every few days.

As someone who had given birth 3 times previously without a doula, I took the leap to have Rachel at my fourth birth and it was the best decision I ever made. I knew I needed someone at my birth who had confidence, competence and calm when it came to our first homebirth. Rachel was above and beyond. Having a doula at my birth transformed the entire experience. I have persistent prodomal labor that leaves me mentally and physically drained. Rachel checked in with me, encouraged me and gave me practical tools to survive the last horrible weeks of my prodomal pregnancy. In my actual birth I don’t know how I could’ve given birth without her. She stood by my side and offered me things I never knew I needed. A drink of water, a position change, a steadying hand, candles in the bath tub, soft music, whatever it was, she thought and implemented it before I could think to need it. Rachel is/was one of the biggest blessings of my birth experience and I’m eternally grateful for her expertise, empathy, joy and grace she brought to my birth.

Rachel played a pivotal role in the unmedicated birth of our baby. Her warm, relatable, and thorough demeanor comforted us at our first meeting. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about a mother’s anatomy and fetal positioning. Given such, she helped labor progress smoothly with moving my body accordingly. Also, Rachel’s voice is so soothing which helped me maintain a meditative space for the duration of labor. I’m so grateful for her affirmations, too. I couldn’t have done it naturally without her support. We will absolutely rehire for all future pregnancies!
