I don't think I could've done this alone without the help of Vanessa Fitzgerald. I did not realize how intense labor would be, but I felt supported throughout the whole process. My experience began meeting with Vanessa, and she went through the whole process of what I would expect and what she would be doing. She is very communicative with me throughout all of the process. I started to go into labor at 39 weeks and 4 days. Once my contractions started intensifying, she rapidly responded and met me at my house. She was very proactive, keeping me calm and steady. The contractions ultimately settled, and she left because I was having prodromal labor. She said if the contractions gets strong or if I need anything else at all to let her know and she would return. Later at night, the contractions got stronger, and I made my way to the Hospital. She met me there, and again, she was there, giving me guidance and support. My ultimate goal was to go through labor 100% naturally, and I really don't know if that would've been possible without her help. Not only was she patient and supportive, but she was also extremely knowledgeable and made sure that I was as comfortable as possible. She helped me maneuver into various positions and also helped me advocate for what I wanted. If you know what are goals are for birth, or need someone who is extremely supportive and can guide you, I highly recommend hiring Vanessa to be your Doula. I really do not have words to thank her.

I had a great experience with Vanessa. She became my doula when i was around 36 weeks. She was very flexible with her time bc I didn't have much free time as I was working up until my due date. She arrived to the hospital before I did which was super helpful. Vanessa was there to grab me from my car as I was in no condition to walk very far. She stayed until after my baby was born and made me feel comfortable and confident the entire time. Her prenatal and postpardem appts were informative and her communication was great.

Our experience with Vanessa F. was nothing short of incredible. From the very beginning, her calming presence and wealth of knowledge made us feel supported and at ease. She truly listened to our needs, offered valuable advice, and empowered us to make informed decisions throughout the pregnancy and birth process. During labor, she was a rock of support, helping us stay focused and calm. Her encouragement, hands on and practical guidance were invaluable. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated, compassionate, and skilled. We can’t imagine going through this journey without her by our side. Vanessa is truly a gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking an extraordinary doula experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Vanessa as my doula. I decided to hire a doula later in my pregnancy and could not have been happier I did. Vanessa was generous with her time in our prenatal visits, and was very knowledgeable and helpful in learning and preparing for a natural birth. As my due date approached, Vanessa checked in and offered great advice to make me feel very supported. 

Most importantly, Vanessa helped me navigate my options and was a sounding board when it was recommended I be induced which was not my preferred plan. After a very long induction process and labor, Vanessa was essential to me having a very positive birth experience. She was a calming presence and helped make the delivery of our baby joyful and serene. 

My husband and I were very happy working with Vanessa and having her as a partner through labor and delivery!
