We worked with both Rebekah and Miranda during our birth experience. It's hard to fully describe the comfort and peace that both Rebekah and Miranda brought to each situation we encountered during labor and delivery. As a first time mom, there was so much during labor and delivery that I hadn’t ever experienced before. I asked lots of questions during each stage of labor and each question was met with a listening ear, wisdom from their experiences, and also knowledgeable resources that helped guide us through the decisions we had to make. They were trusted voices in the room that helped us make decisions that we felt confident in. They provided reassurance and affirmed our choices. They partnered well with our nurses and providers to make sure that my husband and I felt like active participants each step of the way. In reflection of our birth experience, Rebekah and Miranda’s support was outstanding and I can’t imagine what it would have been like without them. They were available to answer questions, came up with positions to labor and push in, listened to my concerns and fears, and made sure that my husband and I had things to eat and drink. We felt so cared for physically and emotionally and we are forever grateful for the parts they played in the delivery of our baby boy!

As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I knew having doula support would be essential. My husband and I began searching around 16 weeks and quickly connected with Golden Hour Doulas. From our first consultation to the final postpartum check-in, I always felt heard, respected, and genuinely cared for by Rebekah and Miranda. They listened closely to our desires as a couple and to my needs as the birthing mother. They offered thoughtful insight, explaining various techniques and balancing western medical approaches with traditional wisdom. When it began to look like I might need an induction instead of the spontaneous labor I hoped for, they followed my lead and helped create an alternative plan, while also suggesting last-minute ways to encourage labor naturally. In the end, we were blessed with a spontaneous, intervention-free, natural labor and birth. Rebekah supported me through every moment—guiding me through contractions, advocating for me in the delivery room, coaching me during pushing, and encouraging my husband as he supported me. I had the birth experience I dreamed of but never thought possible, largely because of the steady, compassionate care of Rebekah and Miranda. I would absolutely use their services again. My only hesitation in recommending them is the fear they’ll be fully booked when I need them next time. They truly are the best.

Ever since we found out we were expecting, I knew I wanted to have a doula with us during labor and delivery. I met with several doulas, but when I met Rebekah, I knew almost immediately that she was the one. Even though we had never met before, talking with her felt like chatting with a friend.

During our first meeting, she and Miranda took the time to walk us through every aspect of pregnancy and birth—including things we hadn’t even thought about. They made us feel informed and really prepared.

As my due date approached, Rebekah was very responsive to all my questions and concerns over text. When my daughter decided to take her time arriving, Rebekah offered reassurance, and thoughtful suggestions to help things progress naturally. When I finally went into labor, she came right away when we needed her.

Throughout my long labor we were so grateful for her calm presence and continous support. She helped both of us meet our goals for our birth plan and gave us suggestions of different positions to help baby move, as well as natural pain relieving measures. She prayed with us during the tough moments and encouraged us during parts of labor that were difficult. When it came time to push she really helped me to focus and to reach the goals I had for the pushing stage. We couldn't have asked for a better person to be with us during this special time. We will defnitely be using Rebekah again for our next baby!

Getting a doula was one of the best decisions we made in preparing for birth and Rebekah was so helpful in the preparation but especially during the actual birth. As first time parents it was a game changer to have a knowledgeable third party to talk things through with when labor started and throughout the birth. Rebekah was available in the middle of the night when we called and so helpful in her suggestions for how to proceed with labor. She was proactive in suggesting different positions to help progress labor and taught my husband and I how to do them. She also was very hands on in providing really helpful massage, encouragement, prayers, and other various solutions to pain. We are so grateful for Rebekah's presence and support during the birth! It would not have been as good of an experience without her.

We had a wonderful experience working with Rebekah. She made us feel very comfortable walking into the labor and delivery of our daughter and was a immense support during the entire process. She was with us the entire time for what turned out to be a long labor and was pivotal in helping us make informed decisions at some key moments. We are so grateful to have had her with us and I cannot recommend her enough.

As Christians, we desired to hire someone that was willing to incorporate their faith into their work. We found Rebekah and immediately felt connected, not just because of her faith and her desire to serve us in this way, but also in personality. When we hired Rebekah, our pregnancy was considered low-risk. It eventually became high-risk and Rebekah worked with us as our delivery plans kept changing. Rebekah is extremely professional, but also incredibly thoughtful. She was super easy to contact and always got back to us in a reasonable amount of time. She provided my husband with tools to help him feel involved in my pregnancy, but also during labor & delivery. We ended up having an emergency c-section, so when my husband wasn't able to be in the OR with me, she was able to provide explanation on what was happening and coach my husband on ways to process what was happening. Even after she left the hospital, she kept in contact with us to ensure we were OK. Her experience and resources helped us throughout and after the whole prenatal, delivery, & postpartum process. We would recommend Rebekah to anyone that's thinking of hiring a doula.

Oh wow, I have used Rebekah's services for three births now, and I couldn't be happier!

For two births she consulted with me long-distance over the phone. She was invaluable as I navigated difficult decisions related to a VBAC. Our conversations, and especially her helpful, insightful questions, were definitive in helping me understand what I hoped for during the birth. Before we talked, I couldn't even articulate what I wanted or why I was anxious. Each time after we talked, however, she had brought clarity - and she guided me into understanding my own self in those confusing situations. She also gave me a ton of practical advice to boot!

I was incredibly afraid prior to one of those births, but her coaching made all the difference in my internal posture. Her advice recognized the physical component, but also the intensly mental component, of going through labor and delivery. Instead of fear, I was able to approach that birth calmly and even with excitement. I am truly, forever grateful for that.

For the third birth she was in the room, and she was just as invaluable. In the heat of the moment she is incredibly intuative. She is warm and kind, but will also lead and direct the situation with gentle firmness if you would like it. She will ADVOCATE for you, and that is a true gift.

Working with Rebekah was a really great experience. She helped my husband and I approach the birth of our first child with a positive and open mindset. We asked her so many questions leading up to the birth, and she had very thorough answers while also pointing us to additional resources. The day I went into labor, Rebekah was really helpful for making decisions in the moment. She was a very calm, reassuring presence in the room, working well with the midwife and also pausing to help me understand everything that was happening. She suggested different things throughout the labor process to help me find out what worked best for me. She kept things moving and encouraged me when things took longer than expected. Overall, Rebekah was so supportive throughout the whole pregnancy/delivery/postpartum process, and I am so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone!

We had a wonderful experience with Rebekah as our Doula for the birth of our twin boys! It was a VBAC and Charlotte's first vaginal delivery, so there were a lot of unknowns for us as we were walking in. Rebekah was so helpful in our entire labor process, coming alongside us and helping us know what to expect and how to respond. Ultimately, she helped us to achieve the unmedicated twin VBAC that we were hoping for! We are thankful for her knowledge and skills, and will definitely be using her for future deliveries!

I've had the joy of having Rebekah attend both of my births, and she has made both experiences incredible! Not only is she incredibly knowledgable and helpful, her encouraging and maternal temperament made me feel so confident. If you are on the fence about having a doula and wondering if it's worth it, I'm here to tell you IT IS!!! Investing in my birth through Rebekah was one of the best decisions I've made!

What a blessing Rebekah has been to us. She was our doula for the births of our son and our daughter and was invaluable to us both times! She empowered me so much as I began the learning process of all things pregnancy and birth during my first pregnancy. I learned so much from our prenatal sessions and I know my pregnancies were better off because of the tools (stretches, exercises, tips for traveling, etc.) that she equipped us with. When it came time for making a birth plan and discussing all the different things we might encounter during labor and delivery, she was a wealth of knowledge and informed us of different options and potential outcomes, without ever pushing us to make a specific decision. She wants to do what will serve you and your baby best and is quick to give information and then step back and let you decide what to do with that information. She is a knowledgeable and calming presence during labor and I was so grateful to have her with us during that process both times. The amount of different labor positions, pain management techniques, and labor progressing tips that she had was amazing! For my first birth if she hadn’t been there to guide us through trying to shift the baby’s position in labor, it’s possible I would have needed interventions, but through her techniques we were able to get him to shift and engage so we avoided any medical interventions!

Rebekah is wonderful at not only providing so much encouragement and information for you, but also at inspiring you to learn and get excited about the beautiful process of birth on your own. She has many different resource suggestions to support you in your journey, both prenatally and postpartum and I so appreciate how well she helped us prepare for the entire process of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. I can’t recommend having Rebekah as your doula enough and I know many women and family’s will continue to be blessed by her services!

This was my first baby and I did not really know what to expect before talking to Rebekah. I was hoping for a natural birth without pain intervention and she is the primary reason I was able to do that. She was so helpful in our meetings...walking us through what to expect, different circumstances that could come up, and answering all of our questions. During labor, she was indispensable. She gave me positions to help progress labor, she had every (natural) trick in the book to help manage pain, and she kept my husband busy. She helped my husband understand the "why" behind all of her methods so that he could understand and be more helpful himself. She was a calming, steady presence for me even when I was out of it, and even more so for my husband. According to him, "She's worth her weight in gold!" We could not recommend her highly enough!!

Having Rebekah as our doula was one of the best decisions we made for the birth of our baby. And I say “our doula” because Rebekah was an amazing help to both me and my husband before, during, and after the birth. We so appreciated the education and recommendations she provided prior to the birth. During my labor and delivery she was a great help and support and a calming presence in the room. I was immensely grateful for the physical and emotional support she gave me and for the coaching and encouragement she provided for my husband as he also supported me. She did a great job of stepping in and up when needed and slipping more into the background when appropriate. Professional, warm, considerate, compassionate- I only have positive words to describe Rebekah and our experience working with her!

I cannot say enough good things about Rebekah but I'm going to try. In October, I gave birth to my second daughter. Since it was our second birth, I was on the fence about whether or not we wanted a doula. Fortunately, I felt super led to reach out to her after so many friends had raved about working with her. I am so glad I did!!! From the first phone call I had with her, I could tell Rebekah was incredibly knowledgeable about birth and what my body would be doing when delivering my daughter. When we had our in person meetings before the birth, she helped both my husband and myself understand why she would be putting me into certain poses when, based on what my bones/muscles/baby/etc. would be doing. This made so much sense and helped me feel totally comfortable trusting her advice throughout labor. During our birth, Rebekah was such an amazing, intuitive, calm presence. She took care of me while confidently suggesting poses for me to try to help my labor move along as effectively as possible. By God's grace and Rebekah's help, I had an incredibly smooth labor and am so grateful I decided to hire her. Couldn't recommend her more! So thankful I even got a new friend out of the process!!

Rebekah was my birth doula for my 2nd child and I could not more strongly recommend her. Rebekah is a consistently clear communicator and is very transparent and honest. She has a very calm and gracious presence, so every interaction with her is pleasant. Meeting with her for the prenatal visits was great because she not only helped educate but we got a good sense of who she is and we felt she was very actively listening and responding to our questions and concerns. Though she is clearly very knowledgeable, I appreciated that she never pretended to know everything and wouldn't shy away from other resources if needed.

I also really appreciated that Rebekah had very clear definitions of her role. While she is flexible and may step in to other roles if asked, she never overstepped any boundaries or tried to be a medical doctor when that isn't her area. But in knowing what we wanted, she would help emphasize our desires to medical professionals in a respectful way that was very effective.

I was extremely happy with my labor and delivery and Rebekah was a huge part of that success. She gave me the support and information I needed to fully support my birthing process and her presence during the delivery and in particular the pushing phase of labor was incredibly helpful. If you are looking for a birth doula who will take action and will quickly adjust as needed, Rebekah is  perfect in the role. I would highly recommend Rebekah to any of my friends and family.
