I've had the joy of having Rebekah attend both of my births, and she has made both experiences incredible! Not only is she incredibly knowledgable and helpful, her encouraging and maternal temperament made me feel so confident. If you are on the fence about having a doula and wondering if it's worth it, I'm here to tell you IT IS!!! Investing in my birth through Rebekah was one of the best decisions I've made!

What a blessing Rebekah has been to us. She was our doula for the births of our son and our daughter and was invaluable to us both times! She empowered me so much as I began the learning process of all things pregnancy and birth during my first pregnancy. I learned so much from our prenatal sessions and I know my pregnancies were better off because of the tools (stretches, exercises, tips for traveling, etc.) that she equipped us with. When it came time for making a birth plan and discussing all the different things we might encounter during labor and delivery, she was a wealth of knowledge and informed us of different options and potential outcomes, without ever pushing us to make a specific decision. She wants to do what will serve you and your baby best and is quick to give information and then step back and let you decide what to do with that information. She is a knowledgeable and calming presence during labor and I was so grateful to have her with us during that process both times. The amount of different labor positions, pain management techniques, and labor progressing tips that she had was amazing! For my first birth if she hadn’t been there to guide us through trying to shift the baby’s position in labor, it’s possible I would have needed interventions, but through her techniques we were able to get him to shift and engage so we avoided any medical interventions!
Rebekah is wonderful at not only providing so much encouragement and information for you, but also at inspiring you to learn and get excited about the beautiful process of birth on your own. She has many different resource suggestions to support you in your journey, both prenatally and postpartum and I so appreciate how well she helped us prepare for the entire process of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. I can’t recommend having Rebekah as your doula enough and I know many women and family’s will continue to be blessed by her services!

This was my first baby and I did not really know what to expect before talking to Rebekah. I was hoping for a natural birth without pain intervention and she is the primary reason I was able to do that. She was so helpful in our meetings...walking us through what to expect, different circumstances that could come up, and answering all of our questions. During labor, she was indispensable. She gave me positions to help progress labor, she had every (natural) trick in the book to help manage pain, and she kept my husband busy. She helped my husband understand the "why" behind all of her methods so that he could understand and be more helpful himself. She was a calming, steady presence for me even when I was out of it, and even more so for my husband. According to him, "She's worth her weight in gold!" We could not recommend her highly enough!!

Having Rebekah as our doula was one of the best decisions we made for the birth of our baby. And I say “our doula” because Rebekah was an amazing help to both me and my husband before, during, and after the birth. We so appreciated the education and recommendations she provided prior to the birth. During my labor and delivery she was a great help and support and a calming presence in the room. I was immensely grateful for the physical and emotional support she gave me and for the coaching and encouragement she provided for my husband as he also supported me. She did a great job of stepping in and up when needed and slipping more into the background when appropriate. Professional, warm, considerate, compassionate- I only have positive words to describe Rebekah and our experience working with her!

I cannot say enough good things about Rebekah but I'm going to try. In October, I gave birth to my second daughter. Since it was our second birth, I was on the fence about whether or not we wanted a doula. Fortunately, I felt super led to reach out to her after so many friends had raved about working with her. I am so glad I did!!! From the first phone call I had with her, I could tell Rebekah was incredibly knowledgeable about birth and what my body would be doing when delivering my daughter. When we had our in person meetings before the birth, she helped both my husband and myself understand why she would be putting me into certain poses when, based on what my bones/muscles/baby/etc. would be doing. This made so much sense and helped me feel totally comfortable trusting her advice throughout labor. During our birth, Rebekah was such an amazing, intuitive, calm presence. She took care of me while confidently suggesting poses for me to try to help my labor move along as effectively as possible. By God's grace and Rebekah's help, I had an incredibly smooth labor and am so grateful I decided to hire her. Couldn't recommend her more! So thankful I even got a new friend out of the process!!

Rebekah was my birth doula for my 2nd child and I could not more strongly recommend her. Rebekah is a consistently clear communicator and is very transparent and honest. She has a very calm and gracious presence, so every interaction with her is pleasant. Meeting with her for the prenatal visits was great because she not only helped educate but we got a good sense of who she is and we felt she was very actively listening and responding to our questions and concerns. Though she is clearly very knowledgeable, I appreciated that she never pretended to know everything and wouldn't shy away from other resources if needed.
I also really appreciated that Rebekah had very clear definitions of her role. While she is flexible and may step in to other roles if asked, she never overstepped any boundaries or tried to be a medical doctor when that isn't her area. But in knowing what we wanted, she would help emphasize our desires to medical professionals in a respectful way that was very effective.
I was extremely happy with my labor and delivery and Rebekah was a huge part of that success. She gave me the support and information I needed to fully support my birthing process and her presence during the delivery and in particular the pushing phase of labor was incredibly helpful. If you are looking for a birth doula who will take action and will quickly adjust as needed, Rebekah is perfect in the role. I would highly recommend Rebekah to any of my friends and family.
