We could not have imagined a more wonderful birth experience with the one and only, Lauren Spencer. From the very beginning, she was warm, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out most was the genuine love and care she poured into every step of our journey. When we welcomed our daughter into the world, she was right there by our side—not only guiding us through the practical parts of labor and delivery but also holding space for us emotionally, encouraging us when things felt overwhelming, and celebrating every little victory along the way. We had lots of “records” for her time as a doula, but she never stoped educating us and advocating for us in the spaces we needed her the most.

Her presence brought such a sense of calm and reassurance to the room, and we felt truly cared for in ways we didn’t even know we’d need. She even played hours of sequence with us while we patiently labored for days - sorry Lauren lol!! Beyond the birth itself, she became someone we grew close to—a trusted friend and a part of our story we’ll cherish forever. We can’t recommend Lauren enough to any family preparing for such a life-changing moment. She is a gift, and we’re endlessly grateful that she was part of our daughter’s arrival. So thankful God placed her in our lives!! We can't wait to share our next birth journey with her in the future.

Lauren was the best support we could’ve asked for!! I was trying for an unmedicated VBAC and knew I needed someone to guide and support me along the way. Lauren was amazing with informing me, making me comfortable, and being an advocate for my birth. She was quick to respond to any texts I sent with questions or concerns. She gave me great advice on how to prep for my labor, whether it was nutrition, exercises, or just mentally, she was so informed on everything. Because of her I felt so much more comfortable than my first birth: more confident, more in control, and I felt heard by my providers! I would hire Lauren again and again!

Lauren was such a valuable asset to my entire pregnancy and birth experience! From being willing to give advice at any stage, to encouraging and supporting through the pregnancy and birth process, she did it all!

This was not my first pregnancy or birth experience, but I wanted this one to be different. I really wanted an unmedicated delivery and Lauren provided so much support and resources. I was so confident through my pregnancy and birth about what I wanted, and she helped me achieve every single one of my goals!

If you’re questioning on hiring a doula, I 1000% recommend Lauren. Her birth education course is also a must, especially for first time parents! Packed full of so much information and resources, you won’t regret it!

Lauren was originally scheduled to be my back-up doula in the event that I went past my due date—which I did. This was my second birth, and although I hadn’t planned on having an all-natural delivery, that’s how things unfolded. Lauren’s calm presence and supportive words helped put me at ease throughout the experience. She truly thought of everything—from having snacks readily available to using red light therapy for my sore muscles. On top of her thoughtful care, she captured the most incredible photos throughout the process. Her warm, nurturing personality shines through in everything she does, and it's clear that she genuinely loves her work. I’m incredibly grateful she was there for the birth of my daughter.

We asked Lauren to join us for our recent birth of our baby boy. This was my 4th birth but my first time planning for an unmedicated birth and without being induced. It was also my husbands 1st baby and birth. Lauren was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable at informing us of all our options and educated us so I was able to have a very successful unmediated birth as well as teaching my husband how to coach me and support me through pregnancy and labor. She was able to also inform me of all my rights in a hospital setting when it came to advocating for myself for what I wanted during my labor and birth. Our baby boy was still breech towards the end of my pregnancy and Lauren had tons of helpful stretches for me to do along with showing and helping us with a breech circuit and we were able to successfully and safely get our sweet boy to flip into an amazing position all in the comfort of our home. Lauren was always there to answer my phone calls and texts with ANY question I had at ANY hour. My labor came on quickly and Lauren was able to get to the hospital quickly when my husband called her to be there to help me and my husband welcome our baby into this world. She stayed with us after and was able to help me make some decisions I was uncertain about after birth which I was so incredibly grateful for (I had no idea how much I could say no to things when it came to things they wanted to give/do to our baby after birth). She continued to check up on us after the birth and helped me through postpartum emotions with reassuring me that what I was experiencing was completely normal and also brought me a rebalance supplement along with some amazing soup to my postpartum visit. I wish I would have had Lauren apart of my other 3 pregnancies and births because this was hands down the most AMAZING experience ever!
