Doula Training

• DONA International-Approved Workshop, May 2022

Type of practice: Partnership with 1 other doula

Clients per month: 1 to 3 births and 1 to 4 postpartum families

Attends hospital births? All Hospitals

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
As EASE Alberta doulas, we are unable to support free births, but we would love to provide our services at home births where a midwife or other medical professionals will be attending.

Relevant volunteer or advocacy work

In addition to the work I do as Co-Founder, of EASE Alberta which allows me to work as a full spectrum doula and early attachment educator, I have also been working in the non-profit and social work sector for the past 8 years. Through this I have gained extensive experience supporting complex needs families and their children. From schools, family homes, Children's Services offices and community spaces, I've been lucky to become a family advocate throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.

Fee Details

The 50$/hour reflects our fee for overnight support. As an organization we are working towards the ability to provide fees on a sliding scale to reflect the needs of the family. At this time were an unable to provide this option but we will update our profile as soon as this becomes available.
