Laura was fantastic to work with! Her birth class was so informative with the weekly format allowing us to connect with other couples going through the same thing. She presented the information clearly and gave great examples to help us understand, as well as providing time to practice the principles. Also she provided helpful resources for us if we wanted more specific details on any topics.

As first time parents, we wanted some support through the delivery process, so we chose to hire Laura when the time came, and we are so thankful we did! Her calm presence and knowledge of what to do helped put our minds at ease, and her sense of humor helped lighten the mood during our long labor at the right times. Since she was by my side, my husband was able to take some well needed breaks also. We highly recommend Laura to other expectant couples! We are so grateful for our beautiful now 4 year old daughter, and we are so thankful to Laura for helping us with her safe arrival!

Laura has been with me for all three of my births. She has been an incredible support as I prepare for labor, and a constant peace as we enter the birth space. She is a comfort and an advocate and I am always grateful for how she supports us during such a special time. I continue to highyly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

I had Laura for my doula for the North of my third child. Even though I had taken hospital birthing classes as well as a Hypnobirthing class, I still learned a lot from participating in her childbirth class. My partner was gone during the class so I wasn't able to come in person due to childcare. Laura made sure that I could participate on zoom and made me feel so connected to the other participants. She really took the time to understand what I wanted from birth and was willing to advocate for and with me throughout the process as needed. My son was born a couple days before Christmas and despite it being a busy season and there being a huge snow storm coming in as I was giving birth, she was completely present for me and stayed to make sure I was settled and that breastfeeding was going well after I delivered. I had a different doula in the past who was also wonderful but Laura far exceeded my expectations even based on my enjoyable past experiences.

I cannot say enough good things about Laura! Laura was an amazing resource all throughout my pregnancy from phone calls and texts to answer questions or give recommendations, to her very informative birth class leading up to my birth! She was a great educator for not only me but my husband as well to teach about labor and delivery, comfort measures, positioning, etc. especially for us as first time parents! When I went into labor Laura spent 12+ hours with us at the hospital as I had a long labor. She was extremely helpful recommending different positions, helping navigate my birth plan, providing suggestions, advocating for me, supporting me and my desire for a natural birth, and helping my husband to support me as well. She was so encouraging throughout my labor and truly helped me achieve the birth that I desired! Laura then also followed up with us after birth to check in on me and baby! I highly recommend Laura as a doula! I could not have had the birth experience I did without her!
