Jacqueline was an amazing doula for my wife and me as we prepared for the birth of our first child. Over the months we worked together, we really came to trust her and felt supported every step of the way. She helped us think through our birth preferences, taught us practical hands-on labor techniques, and was always available by text when we had questions or just needed reassurance.

She also guided us through Spinning Babies techniques and was incredibly supportive when things didn’t go as planned and we needed to schedule a C-section. Jacqueline always listened, validated our concerns, and made us feel comfortable and confident in the decisions we were making. She was an essential part of our support team leading up to and on the day of our daughter's birth. After the C-section our little one needed to go to level 2 care and I accompanied her there while Jacqueline stayed with my wife. Had she not been there my wife would have been alone with nobody to comfort her. We’re so grateful we had her by our side!

Jacqueline was a wonderful support person to have around throughout my birth. In our first meeting sessions, she went over labor positions, possible hospital interventions, etc., making my husband and I feel more prepared for possibilities that might occcur over the birth process. I was looking for a doula that would provide a calm, supportive presence throughout my labour, and Jacqueline was certainly that! During the birth, she helped me make decisions regarding possible interventions and served as an advocate and mediator between myself and the hospital staff. Her calm and knowledgeable presence became particularly helpful when it became clear that my birth was going to require an unanticipated C-Section. I would certainly recommend her to anyone seeking a calming, knowledgeable and reassuring presence throughout their birth.

It's been 5 months since my birth, and I finally get some time to share my story. When I found out I was pregnant, I really wanted a birth with as few medical interventions as possible. I assumed (it was my first pregnancy!) that in the heat of the process, I may not follow my intuition and potentially agree to interventions I don't feel comfortable with. So, together with my husband, we agreed that we need an additional advocate, someone who will keep a cool head in the middle of the bloody show and will cheer me up when needed (for some reason, I had a super strong feeling that encouragement from my husband would be annoying :D).

Jacqueline was a perfect choice. Her spinning babies certificate gave me peace that she'll know how to help me if the baby has issues going through the birth canal.
She's evidence-based and has a perfect mix of natural approach with medical interventions when needed. She showed me how to exercise before labour to help the baby get into the right position, and how to go through contractions as a couple. She provided appropriate research when we had questions and when data sources were inconclusive.

I ended up having my dream birth (water birth, no interventions, only 4 hours!), and Jacqueline did an amazing job supporting my husband in squeezing my hips (the only thing that helped me through contractions) for the whole 4 hours (to give you the perspective, the next day my husband was in pain :D)

I cannot recommend Jacqueline enough!

From our very first conversation, we knew we’d found the right doula. Jacqueline was incredibly supportive, calm, and full of helpful ideas — but what really stood out was how she cared about our experience as a couple. My husband is a nurse, and she made a special effort to let him be fully present in his “dad hat” rather than his “nurse hat,” which made the whole experience so much more meaningful for both of us.

When our breech baby surprised us at the very end and we needed to pivot from a planned vaginal birth to a C-section, she handled it with total grace. She stayed flexible, reassuring, and resourceful every step of the way, helping us feel confident and calm through all the changes.

Thanks to her, what could have been a stressful detour became a truly positive and empowering birth story. I can’t imagine going through it without her steady support and kind presence. If you’re considering hiring her — don’t hesitate. She’s everything you hope for in a doula: knowledgeable, compassionate, and completely dedicated to helping you have the best possible experience.

Jacqueline was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the beginning of our journey, she was calm, comforting, and informative about the birth process. We were so glad to know that we could reach out to her with questions leading up to our birth, and relieved when the time came to be able to text her and ask her to come. During our birth, she was incredibly thoughtful and helpful - having her by our side as an additional support to both K as the birthing parent and me as the partner was such a comfort. We highly recommend working with her!

We worked with Jacqueline to achieve natural birth with my second child. She was extremely helpful leading to delivery day, providing support and lots of resources to help us make informed choices and be confident. She helped me listen to my intuition, while backing it up with evidence and science. She was very responsive and great at checking on me before and after delivery. She was super helpful during delivery and her support was crucial. We can't thank her enough for helping me achieve the birth experience I wanted and we highly recommend her.

I'm a birth doula and agency owner, grateful to have Jacqueline as part of the team, not only because of her wisdom, approach, and support for clients but also as a colleague. I recently unexpectedly needed to call in back up doula support for a birth client because I had a rapid onset of a debilitating migraine. While I was so disappointed to have needed to leave my clients, especially after 17 hrs of support, I knew I couldn't be the doula they deserved while I was suffering. I called Jacqueline in the early morning hours, gave the best handoff I could muster (knowing I wish I could have given more), and she was in the car on her way immediately, while also reassuring me. She graciously stayed with my clients for an extended period postpartum, and the clients instantly felt at ease with her, which meant the world to me. Jacqueline is an exceptional doula and I'm forever thankful for being able to rely on her in a trying time.

We are so incredibly grateful to have had Jacqueline as our birth doula. From the very beginning, she was a calm, knowledgeable, and grounding presence. She helped us prepare for the birth with care and patience—answering all our questions, walking us through our options, and helping us feel truly informed and empowered. Her guidance made a huge difference in how confident and ready we felt going into labor - especially when we had an unexpected induction.

On the day of the birth, Jacqueline was absolutely amazing. She was not only a strong advocate for our wishes, but also a steady, reassuring support through every stage. Her presence helped create a peaceful and focused atmosphere, and she worked seamlessly with our medical team to make sure our voice was heard. I honestly don’t know how we would have done it without her.

If you’re considering working with a doula, we can’t recommend Jacqueline highly enough. She is deeply dedicated to the families she supports and brings so much heart and expertise to everything she does. We feel lucky to have had her by our side during such a life-changing moment.

After a first birth that didn’t go as we had hoped, we knew we needed more support for our second. Hiring Jacqueline as our doula was one of the best decisions we made. From our first meeting, she brought calm, warmth, and a depth of knowledge that instantly put us at ease.

Jacqueline met with us twice before the birth to help us create a thoughtful, personalized birth plan. She walked us through different scenarios and helped us feel prepared for any outcome. She also offered incredible guidance for the postpartum period. This was especially helpful since we have a two-year-old at home and needed practical strategies to manage both a newborn and a toddler.

In the weeks leading up to labor, she stayed in close contact. During early labor, she was responsive and supportive via text. When it was time to head to the hospital, she arrived quickly and was essential throughout the birth. She provided effective coping techniques, including counter pressure and breathing support. She also helped us navigate medical decisions with clarity and confidence.

Her presence was incredibly calming and validating. I truly had the best birth experience I could have imagined, and I attribute that largely to her support. After birth, she visited us at home with a thoughtful memento and helped us transition into our new routine.

We are endlessly grateful to Jacqueline and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, skilled, and supportive birth doula.

I was very lucky to have Jacqueline as my doula for the birth of my daughter. Jacqueline is kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and calming. I was anxious about finding support for my labor and birth as a single mother by choice, and decided to find a doula late in my pregnancy. Jacqueline made me feel comfortable and validated right away. She understood the nuance of my situation and was confident and proactive in considering how she could best support me. She prepared a thorough birthing plan for me and created a summary version to share with the team at the hospital.

I ended up going into labor early, before our second meeting. Jacqueline was at the hospital as soon as needed, with everything she needed, even on short notice. She helped make sure I was able to consider different laboring positions, shared my birthing plan with the full medical team, and was a gentle supportive presence throughout my whole labor. She made sure to check in with me regularly about the next steps throughout my labor and reminded me of my options as needed. She also helped me manage contractions with gentle back massages. Jacqueline was also a calming presence when my baby needed a few minutes of oxygen support after birth, which was very much appreciated.

Jacqueline has kept in touch to check on me since my daughter was born to check on how I’m doing, including during breastfeeding challenges. I’m extremely grateful to have had her be part of my labor and delivery and as a postpartum resource as well.

I was so lucky to find Jacqueline last minute when I needed her most. My partner was traveling for two days, and it was my first time alone with our newborn for a night. Jacqueline was amazing—she helped me feed and soothe the baby, washed bottles, did laundry, and provided much-needed support. I shared some breastfeeding challenges and she connected me with breastfeeding specialists that same night.

As a first-time mom, I’m usually anxious about others holding my baby, but Jacqueline was so gentle and cautious that I felt completely at ease. I’d highly recommend her to anyone needing postpartum help or encouragement.

P.S. She’s also very pet-friendly and great with dogs!

We worked with Jacqueline for overnight care after our second child was born, and I would highly recommend her! Jacqueline has a lovely, calm demeanor and she was incredibly attentive and observant of our daughter. She was so warm and caring for our whole family, bringing nourishing and delicious food for all of us. Our daughter was a very fussy sleeper for a long stretch (so not the best overnight companion) but Jacqueline was patient and loving with her. Her presence was so appreciated by our whole family as she gave us all the best gifts of rest and nourishment!
