I had a non-emergency c-section with my first baby. So I explained to my husband how important it was for me to set myself up for the best chance to have a VBAC. As soon as I met Rachel it felt like meeting with an old friend.
Rachel met with my husband and I in person to discuss my birth plan, pain management measures and the first few hours of my baby’s life. Rachel was so supportive the last few weeks leading up to my induction. She checked in often and I felt confident and ready going into my birth.
Rachel was there for support in my most intense moments of labor. She helped manage my pain by applying counter pressure, prepared a warm tub, aromatherapy (WHICH WAS AMAZING) and many other techniques to help me manage the pain. At some point I decided an epidural was best for me and Rachel was a great support with acknowledging all of the work that I had put in while laboring thus far. This helped me stay positive because I felt discouraged at this point.
With the epidural I was able to rest and finally had my baby! Rachel and my entire team were a tremendous support while I was pushing. It was such a calm and peaceful experience I would not have wanted it to go any other way.
I tried to breastfeed but gave up and decided to exclusively pump. Rachel knew how much I really wanted to breastfeed she encouraged me to try again. She found a lactation consultant that accepted my insurance. Now I breastfeed and only pump while I am at work. She was the driving force that changed my whole experience with breastfeeding into a positive one.
I HIGHLY recommend Rachel, I cannot imagine where I would be without her support during my first VBAC experience. Thanks to Rachel I had my dream VBAC, I learned to breastfeed, something I wish I had done with my first baby. She helped heal all of the mom guilt I felt from my first birth and first breastfeeding journey. Thank you so much Rachel!

From the moment we met with Rachel over Zoom for the first time, we knew she was the doula that we wanted to support us through my first pregnancy and birth of our baby boy. She is warm, honest, understanding, and passionate about her work. As first time parents, Rachel used her extensive knowledge and background to help inform and educate us, but also made sure we were making decisions based on what was best for our family and respected our decisions throughout the pregnancy and birth. By the time our birth occurred, we felt so comfortable with Rachel that her being with us during such a vulnerable, special time wasn't even a question. I would 1000% recommend Rachel as to anyone who is looking for the kindest hearted, passionate doula!

We were so grateful to have Rachel as our doula. My labor progressed pretty quickly and the guidance she offered during that window was invaluable. Her calm presence and advice helped me feel grounded and confident, and her suggestions truly helped my labor progress quickly and safely. Rachel has a wonderful ability to read the room, offer exactly what’s needed in the moment, and make you feel supported and capable. We’re so thankful for her care and expertise and would recommend her to any family preparing for birth!

I am beyond grateful for Rachel, my online doula. From the start, she was incredibly kind, caring, and attentive, always making me feel supported. She has an amazing ability to listen, and I always felt heard and understood. Despite being several hours away, Rachel went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and that I felt confident throughout the process. Her compassion and non-judgmental nature created a safe space, and she helped boost my confidence every step of the way. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better doula and feel so fortunate to have had her support. I highly recommend Rachel!

Having Rachel on my birth team was the best decision I could have made. She was a rock for me throughout, and was such a source of peace and calm for me. Rachel valued my preferences for my birth plan without judgment and held true to advocating for me at all times. My birth story had many unexpected turns, and Rachel stayed by my side, along with my husband, for the wild ride. I had Rachel with me in the birth center and at the hospital after a transfer was needed. She never missed a beat and took care of me so thoughtfully. From the first interview to prenatal appointments to the actual birth of my first baby, Rachel kept looking out for me and helped me feel empowered throughout my birth journey. She even took pictures and helped transport my placenta for encapsulation, which was so helpful because we remained at the hospital for longer than expected. I felt like Rachel was one of the best parts of my birth story, and I know she would be a wonderful addition to any birth team!

Rachel has been apart of our family for 4 years. I connected with her on social media after many failed attempts of finding the perfect baby sitter. At the time I had a 1 and half year old and was pregnant with my 2nd child. It was very important I connected with the potential babysitter and really trusted them with my nonverbal child. Immediately when we started talking via text, I knew she would be a great fit. Soon after I invited her over for a meet and greet, and she's been apart of our family ever since. Our 2 year old was diagnosed with Down syndrome and needs a little extra attention, someone to take care of her with patience, and at the time she had food limitations and was nonverbal. Rachel listens, is extremely caring and truly loves my children. The mom anxiety doesnt happen when she watched my children, I knew they were in the best care. Rachel also was wonderful helping with dishes, laundry, caring for my newborn. My 2nd child was very stubborn with a bottle. Rachel stepped right in and helped feed her from the bottle. With a little patience and many attempts, bottle was drank! She listens to your family needs and executes. Hands down she is a wonderful babysitter, caregiver, friend and now family member!
