I had a very long labor and a difficult doctor, but Hannah made me feel empowered to make my own decisions! She helped me adjust as needed when the situation wasn’t aligning with my birth plan and eased my mind to adapt to those tough moments. Now, almost two weeks later, I have an amazing outlook on the experience thanks to Hannah!
She also took some amazing photos throughout the labor. They are absolutely beautiful and moments that I’ll hold on to for the rest of my life!

Hannah was so amazing and supportive during my pregnancy, labor and delivery and post

partum. She was informative and I felt very prepared to have a natural birth/ successful VBAC delivery. She also helped my partner to be confident during delivery with a lot of advice on how he could help me through the process. I loved having a doula and I would reccomend every woman have one. Definitely a necessity!

Our family’s experience with Hannah as our doula was nothing short of amazing and we would recommend her to anyone seeking support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We started working with Hannah towards the end of the first trimester and she provided so much knowledge and support throughout our entire pregnancy. It was like having a dear friend on speed dial who had access to evidence based answers to all of our questions. Our baby was breech and Hannah supported us through finding different techniques to try to get him to turn head down and even accompanied us through an ECV procedure in the hospital. Going the extra mile to be with us during that time meant the world to us and helped us stay calm and informed before and after our procedure. Despite our best efforts, our baby was just meant to stay breech and a c-section was scheduled. As a first time mom, I was absolutely terrified of surgery and Hannah played such a huge role in providing resources that helped me feel as prepared as possible for birth. Even though a c-section wasn’t the birth that we had imagined when we started working with her, Hannah helped make room for us to come to terms with the fact that it was the birth our little guy needed. It turns out that it was the birth I needed as well. I am so grateful to say that I felt so much more calm and confident going into my surgery thanks to her help and I actually really enjoyed my birth! Having such a calming, supportive presence on such a nerve-wracking day both before and after surgery was invaluable to my family and I. We are so thankful to Hannah for all of the heart, research, and hard work she puts into supporting her families.

We are first time parents and found so much value in Hannah’s services. We found ourselves overwhelmed with the constant flood of opinions and information from social media, family, and doctors . Having Hannah to fact check, provide us with more science based insight, and then give us advice/ recommendations from her own experiences was an absolute game changer. Hannah was an affordable and incredible resource at every step of my wife’s baby-journey. During pregnancy she offered great advice, resources and information that helped us navigate all the input we were taking in via OBs, The Hospital staff and the internet. During labor/delivery she was an ever present support and advocate for my wife’s needs and desires. After delivery she checked in, visited and made us feel like no question or request was off limits.

I feel as if Hannah’s services are a must whether you’re expecting your first or your fifth child. The better part of the time we spent in labor and delivery was spent with only myself, my wife, the delivery nurse, and Hannah - and having someone present on your behalf during a time like that is priceless.

Although this was my second pregnancy, this was my first time having a doula. The only thing I wish differently was that I would’ve had Hannah the first time as well. Hannah is organized, dedicated, full of knowledge and a great support. She was helpful in discussing and developing my birth plan, inquiring more about my past birth trauma and experience and was an excellent advocate for me in pregnancy and during labor/delivery. She was also very valuable and gave me great information when my baby was breech up until 37 weeks and when an induction was in discussion. From her calming presence, help in position changes, counter pressure and frequent affirmations I was able to achieve my goal of an unmedicated birth. I truly do not believe I could’ve done it without her. I’d recommend her to anyone and am so thankful that she was apart of our birth story.

Doulas need doulas too!!! Hannah was such a blessing  during my pregnancy and labor and now postpartum.  During pregnancy she met with us to go over our birth plan and learn ways to best help support us. She also checked in with us periodically and built a good relationship with us and my toddler who’s grown very fond of her which was very important to me during my delivery . During delivery she pulled out all the tricks and Postions to help me . I struggled to get comfortable and Hannah was in the trenches with me trying everything tennis balls , massage , affirmations , counter pressure, combs , rezebo she had all the things . She kept me hydrated and nourished for the marathon when that was the last thing on my mind. During transition and pushing I was beginning to loose my ability to cope and a bit beside myself . Hannah was anchor she talked me through contractions and vocalized what was happening to me that I couldn’t see. Postpartum she’s checked on us and even made a meal to bring us??

Hannah was an incredible support during my postpartum period. She helped with everything from meal prep, laundry, and cleaning to caring for both my baby and older daughter (who LOVED her and asks all the time when she’s coming back). More than that, she offered a calm, comforting presence and truly listened as I processed my birth story and worked through some deep emotions. I felt seen, supported, and cared for in every way. Hannah was exactly what I was looking for in a birth doula. She acknowledged all of my concerns about achieving a more natural birth. She is very knowledgeable about pregnancy and the birth process and provided very beneficial information that helped achieve my birth goals. I also live farther away and Hannah was on the road as soon as I let her know I was in labor. Overall I could not have asked for a better birth and doula experience. We absolutely loved our experience with Hannah! This was my third birth and first at going epidural free. Hannah was easy to talk to through the easier contractions and when things became more difficult she was very calming. Hannah answered all my questions, was calm and reassuring and tried many different pain relief strategies throughout my quick labor. I didn't need to ask her to do things, she was on top of it before I asked! I'm so thankful for my experience!

I could not have asked for a better birth experience working with Hannah. She was amazing from suggesting questions I may want to ask my provider about at prenatal visits, to helping navigate all there is to learn in your first pregnancy, to being with me at the hospital during a long overnight labor process. Hannah was always encouraging and looking for ways to help my birth plan go as I had envisioned while also supporting me in decisions when the birth started to look different from what I had originally planned. I'm so thankful Hannah was there to assist me and my husband through this special life event and I wouldn't hesitate to have her as my doula for the next baby.

If you’re thinking about having a doula, Hannah is the one to have! This was our first pregnancy and since we didn’t know how labor and delivery would work for us I wanted to make sure we were well supported. We had a planned home-birth with midwives and Hannah was so supportive of our decisions and what we wanted our birth to look like. Our visits before the birth were super informative and helped us get to know each other before the big day! Hannah made me feel so comfortable and helped with anything we needed during labor and delivery! She helped to get baby in better positioning, with pain relief when I had terrible back labor, gave me constant encouragement, and even just held the fan when I was in the thick of it! We ended up having to transfer after laboring at home and in the hospital she had our birth plan ready so everyone was on the same page. She stayed with me and held my hand after our baby was born while my husband stayed with him. All in all I can’t imagine not having Hannah there with us through our labor and delivery. She brought so much comfort and encouragement during that time! Thank you Hannah!!

We've been working with Hannah in a postpartum capacity for over a month now and we couldn't be happier! She is an excellent doula. She is knowledgable, compassionate, and accommodating, and she has developed such a sweet relationship with our 3-month-old son. Hannah was such an amazing resource to have both during pregnancy & child birth. She was able to give me tons of information and things to do to try and help get baby in the right position. While in labor she was consistently recommending trying new things/positions and even was able to help assist with breastfeeding after the birth.  Hannah did a wonderful job helping my wife in labor. She's very professional, knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do and when to do it. It was the birth of our first child and I had no idea what to expect. Hannah's calm demeanor helped keep me calm and helped my wife as well. I honestly believe that without Hannah in that room, the birthing experience would not have been as positive as it was for my wife.
