I'm Erica, the Valley Doula! I’ve been interested in birth and babies as far back as I can remember. In fact, one of my first words was “baby.” In college I was introduced to the world of doulas and birth work. It was something that I always wanted to be a part of it but life had taken me down a different path until now. I tailor what I can offer to what you are looking for from a doula. I try my best to be compassionate, dutiful, and a calming presence during your labor and birth process. While my job is to listen to your needs and provide the best support I can, I think it’s most important that you feel empowered before, during and after your birth experience. I serve Skagit, Whatcom and Snohomish and Island Counties. I want to make sure I’m able to get to your birth quickly when you request support, but if you feel you might be outside of my travel range, we can discuss logistics. I never want fees to be a barrier and I will try my best to work with your budget.
