I spoke with her a little later in my pregnancy and from our initial phone conversation to discuss what I was looking for it was a great experience. I wish I'd gotten with her sooner! She always made me feel comfortable to ask anything & was always able to answer my questions or provide resources that helped throughout the pregnancy and birth. Being supported during the birthing process was the most important thing to me and Ally was able to exceed those expectations, she was an important part of my pregnancy & birthing process, which we are forever grateful.

I was 5 months pregnant when I first connected with Ally. I felt a genuine sense of peace after our first meet up and felt great about choosing her to be the person who would be with me during one of the most meaningful days of my life. She came to my house and met my husband not long after our first meeting and he liked how at ease she made me feel. Throughout the remainder of my third trimester, she checked in, kept up with my doctors appointments, and sent educational information for my husband and I to read up on. When I was 35 weeks, we found out my baby was breach. Ally immediately started to reassure me that 1) there were several things we could do to try to get him to turn and 2) if he didn’t turn, everything would still be okay. She made me feel like no matter what happened, that’s what was meant to be and it would be all be fine. She came to my house and we did stretches and exercises in attempts to get him to move. We realized that wasn’t going to happen as it got closer and a C section birth was our best option. I was disappointed I wasn’t going to be able to have her in the room with us at the hospital. After his birth, I was having some trouble getting my baby to latch and other unforeseen breast feeding issues came up that weren’t issues when we were in the hospital. She came over 2 days after we were home and helped my husband and I both understand the baby’s needs and my own. She has been so supportive, informative, and really just a listening ear when I’ve needed to vent. Even though I didn’t get to have the “full doula experience” due to my ‘unplanned’ C section, connecting with Ally was a great experience and a really smart choice as we still have no idea what we’re doing most days and I know I can text her anytime and she will always respond with helpful, encouraging words. I’m so glad I found her.

This was my first time having a doula and it was the best experience. Ally was so helpful at anytime I needed her. When it was time for me too deliver she was one way and if it wasn't for her being there they probably would've sent me home. I would most definitely use ally again my next pregnancy.

Ally is a wonderful doula because of her knowledge and calming presence during labor. I had a very long labor and Ally was there for me every step of the way, she held my hand for countless hours, offered massage techniques but most importantly she had me get into different positions to help my labor progress. She encouraged me when I thought I could no longer push myself, she also supported my husband and helped guide him on support techniques during labor. I would hands down hire her again and recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding doula. She also offers other services post partum that are super helpful like breast feeding sessions and baby wearing sessions. I personally did the breast feeding session with her and I learned so much that I was pumping milk within the next day of our session.
