Lauretta was my doula for my first child, and she was absolutely amazing in supporting me and my family during labor. Upon meeting her I could tell how excited and passionate she was about being my doula and supporting me during my pregnancy and labor.  I was impressed with how well informed she is on hospital procedures, and she helped me form a great birth plan during our prenatal visit as well as give me sources to help me make decisions about after birth procedures. During our prenatal visit she also practiced some natural pain relief techniques with me, and coached my fiancé with how to implement them as well, which were extremely helpful managing my pain during labor. Throughout labor, she made sure I drank water and used the restroom, and also helped to advocate for me while I was in labor and made sure I gave consent for any interventions that were performed. I had a long labor and she was very attentive to every need I asked of her the whole time. If you are looking for a doula and someone who will advocate for you and support you in every way during labor, I highly recommend her!

Lauretta was my doula for baby #3 and she was phenomenal! I had a hospital delivery and she worked incredibly well alongside the hospital team while still advocating for me and my needs. Lauretta met with my husband and I pre-delivery to understand our hopes and desires for labor and delivery. During labor and delivery, she encouraged frequent repositioning, provided massage, aromatherapy, and created a soothing environment amongst other things. She even took pictures for my husband and I during and immediately post delivery to capture our special moments! I highly recommend Lauretta as a doula- she is well informed, caring, compassionate, and overall wonderful!

My journey with Lauretta began when I found out I was pregnant in August of 2023 ! I was referred to Lauretta by friends and from the moment we had our initial consult, I knew she was going to be my doula. Choosing the correct doula is a big decision; you want to connect with the person who will be helping you guide a new life into the world ! Over the course of not only my pregnancy but also my labor, there were so many times Lauretta was there to mentor, educate and guide me. She advocated my wants/needs and demonstrated her true passion for being a doula. I welcomed my first baby in March 2024 and can 100% say my experience wouldn't been the same without her ! I am so grateful for her knowledge, experience and genuine compassion, thank you Lauretta !
