My wife and I had a really great experience with our Dogwood doula, Elyse! We felt really supported before, during and after the birth process. My wife had a rather complicated delivery and Elyse was wonderfully supportive during that whole process, providing a a lot of education and care in whatever way was needed while still being respectful of our space. She was really accessible through the whole pregnancy which really put us at ease, as well as our backup doula, Babette, who we really appreciated as well. We were so happy with our decision to hire Elyse. It was a very fair price and so helpful in numerous ways.

I had an incredibly positive time working with Elyse - she was communicative, enthusiastic, comptent, confident, flexible, and sensitive. I felt supported in the decisions that I made. I really appreciated her science-informed perspective. I ended up having a scheduled c-section because of breech presentation, and Elyse helped tremendously in educating me about cesarian sections and helping me feel good going into the birthday. I found her presence at the hospital to be calming, and I felt that she just showed up for me and my mother and my daughter in all sorts of ways I never could have anticipated and so appreciated.
