I believe that having a doula by your side is a huge asset as you navigate the healthcare system. I most frequently support births at HCA Memorial, UF North, St. Vincent's Southside, St. Vincent's Clay, and Baptist South. Whether you are planning an unmedicated birth, a birth with an epidural or other pain medication, an induction, or a scheduled Cesarean, my goal is to help create a calm, empowering birth experience, where your voice is heard and your birth desires are respected.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
We are lucky to have three birth centers here in the Jacksonville area, and supporting clients at a birth center is a joy for me. I have worked closely with the midwives First Coast Midwifery, Fruitful Vine, and Transitions (I've had a midwife from each of these practices as my own midwife during my own three births!), and my relationship with them helps make for a supportive, experienced birth team. Part of my specialty with birth center families is helping with the transition from laboring at home, to getting settled at the birth center.

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
I am a home birth mom myself, and supporting them special to me. I have worked with the majority of our local home birth midwives, and my strong relationships with them mean you'll have holistic support throughout your entire pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I know the unique process of preparing your home and your family for a home birth, and I help you think through all of your options. In the unlikely event of a hospital transfer, I bring my expertise with hospital births to the forefront, while doing everything I can to help you preserve the calm, supportive home birth atmosphere you wanted.
