If you are on the fence, I absolutely recommend you go for it and schedule doula services with Paiten!  This was my second baby and after preventable complications with our first birth, I always said if I got to do it again, I would hire a doula. After our virtual intro meeting with Paiten, we were so eager to work with her.  She provided practical and helpful planning strategies before birth and helped us consider all of our options.  I really hoped for an unmedicated birth after too many interventions with our first.  Baby Felix was so eager to meet Paiten, he decided to come in the morning before our final 37 week session - but that didn't matter one bit.  Paiten was ready and she had already given us the tools we needed.  Paiten met us at the hospital and built instant rapport with our whole nurse and midwives care team.  She had a bag filled with all of the support tools we had discussed and more.  Most importantly, she was with us every minute until we held our baby, through our golden hour and until we moved to the recovery floor.  I couldn't believe that I had done it - unmedicated and feeling like an absolute super woman.  This birth was such a redemptive experience after such a tough prior birth.  I wish every woman on the planet had a Paiten by their side to welcome their baby earth side.  Paiten, your calming, thoughtful and confident presence was the biggest gift and our family is forever grateful for you.  Thank you for your guidance, expertise and deep compassion.  You are one of a kind!

Paiten was very lovely to work with. From our first meeting, I felt very comfortable with her. I really appreciated that she had a nursing background. She was really supportive during my labor and she had some really useful equipment (fan, heating pad) that helped make me feel better during and after labor. She is very caring and sweet.

Paiten was a great match for us because her knowledge and experience were very helpful as my husband and I navigated our first pregnancy. She's very calming and reassuring and she was a great comfort during my delivery! I'm so glad to have had her support throughout my pregnancy!

Paiten was awesome to work with!  We couldn't have asked for a better birthing experience with her!  She is beautiful inside and out, and she made us feel so comfortable.  She is very knowledgeable and I knew we were in good hands.  She made sure our birthing experience was everything we wanted, was there with us the entire time, and made sure all of our wishes were endured!  Thank you Paiten for taking good care of us!  ?? We highly recommend her as a doula!!

Words do not describe how absolutely WONDERFUL Paiten is! We just had our first baby and were planning to deliver out of hospital but things changed and we ended up being induced and delivering in hospital with medication. Paiten was so supportive with this change, her knowledge as a former L&D nurse really came in handy to help me and my husband make informed choices in our care. She checked in on me and cared not just about my physical body but how I was doing mentally. Her calm personality put my anxiety at ease and we successfully brought a sweet little boy into the world. 10/10 reccomend Paiten and we will definetly use her in the future!
