We are first-time parents with no family / support nearby, and Tori has been an absolute godsend the past few weeks! She helped us with overnights starting shortly after birth for about 7 weeks. Her warmth, gentleness, and expertise with newborns immediately put us at ease and helped me (the birthing partner) get much-needed rest.  She provided support with breastfeeding as well as bottle feeding later on, gently working with our refluxy and sleepy eater to get enough down each night. She also provided prompt and detailed updates after the night was over. Besides that, she’s just a lovely person—cannot say enough good things about Tori!

I had a long and challenging labor, and Tori was there to help every step of the way. She was a soothing and encouraging presence with so many helpful techniques, plus an awesome collaborator with the hospital staff. My husband and I are so grateful for how she guided us through the birth of our first child, from the preparations to the labor and delivery. We are all doing well, and much credit for that goes to Tori!

We absolutely loved working with Tori for taking care of our newborn. Her calm presence, expert advice, and gentle care made a world of difference for both our baby and us. Tori was amazing to work with. We hired them as a doula about a month prior to giving birth. We only wish we had found Tori sooner! Their pre-birth visits put as at ease, despite  having a high-risk pregnancy and upcoming labor. Even knowing we were scheduled for a planned induction due to health concerns, Tori walked us through all options pre-birth. We didn't realize how valuable it would be to think about our desires. Tori helped us set aside what we knew was happening (the induction) and focus on what we really wanted out of the birth experience.

We went in for our induction on 12/23 and Tori was right there to get us settled. They offered to stay with us throughout the entire process, or return when active labor began. We opted to have Tori come back the next day, but they continually checked in on us throughout the induction which was very helpful. When Tori returned, they did an excellent job of helping with breathing, positioning, and offering support to us throughout the process.

Following delivery, Tori continued to check on us and brought over a (delicious!) home cooked meal. Having this support after delivery was really meaningful to us, especially as we don't have close family in town. Thank you Tori, and Whole Body Birth for wonderful support services! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for doula support.

Tori is amazing, and I would recommend her services as a birth/labor doula to my loved ones. Tori is truly nonjudgmental and wholeheartedly supported the birth plan I had in mind. She was always on time, always prepared, and in general, she was super professional every step of the way (from scheduling and billing to taking great pictures of the birthing process and showing newborn care techniques). Having Tori in my corner made my anxiety disappear! Thank you, Tori!!!

As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed and unsure of what to do in those early days, but having Tori as our night doula was an absolute game-changer. She was so thoughtful and caring, always anticipating exactly what I needed during every feeding schedule. From having water and my milk collector ready to offering words of encouragement, she made the entire process so much easier.

Tori taught me different nursing positions and gave me the confidence I needed to take care of my baby. Her guidance and support during those sleepless nights were invaluable, and I’ll forever be grateful for her calming presence.

Tori was such an important piece of our labor journey. I ended up laboring unmedicated much longer than anticipated and Tori's support, tools, and pain management techniques truly are the only things that got me through to 8cm unmedicated. She consistently offered advice about switching up positions and also was unwaveringly empathetic to the situation. Tori's pre birth appointment was also really helpful, she talked us through all scenarios and made sure we were comfortable and confident going into my due date. We are so happy we chose to hire a doula and we are LUCKY we ended up with Tori.

Tori not only acted as my doula, but also ended up being a birth partner for me. I had a difficult birthing experience (severe preeclampsia, preterm birth, bed ridden, induction), and Tori was a rockstar through it all. Tori helped support me in my birth plan and through the many changes that presented. Tori used their knowledge as a Doula and as a Massage Therapist to assist me in my laboring experience. Tori provided gender affirming care and was incredibly respectful of my identity and my boundaries. I felt safe, comfortable and well supported throughout my labor which I attribute to Tori. Tori is kind, helpful, knowledgeable and highly skilled. Tori used their massage expertise to help me through my labor which I found incredibly useful. I absolutely would recommend Tori to any birthing person or gestational parent. Tori's ability to adapt and provide supportive and affirming care is what sets them apart from other people. If you are wanting an inclusive and empowering birthing experience I absolutely recommend Tori. I give a huge thank you to Tori for helping me achieve a positive birthing experience.
