Salachon relatives. I'm Ále (AH-leh), the Earthen Mami. I'm a queer Indígena birthworker, artist & activist located in Seattle. I come from the Maya Ch’ortí, Lenca & Garífuna/Garínagu Indigenous & Afroindigenous peoples of Honduras through my father’s side. I'm a radical lover, mujerísta, fur mama, auntie, daughter, sister, and friend. As an Indigenous doula, my practice has been lifelong. I'm deeply connected with my heritage & revel in the complexity & nuance that is my own history and lived experience. It is with joy that I offer myself and my gifts to empower fellow Indigenous & Black Womben and Birthing People in one of the most transformative experiences one can have. The reality of living under capitalism is that our material conditions are dire. I offer a sliding scale option for BBIPOC clients & various payment plans. I'm happy to discuss financial barriers and do not want the cost of our work together to be an added stress.
