It’s hard to imagine welcoming our daughter into the world without having Maddie by our side. We are first time parents and were working with another doula who was unavailable during the start of our delivery. Maddie jumped in as our backup doula, and we are so thankful that everything worked out that way. She came to the hospital with very little notice in the middle of the night, quickly met us and was up to speed on our birth plan and immediately provided her expertise and help.

She was at our side throughout the entire delivery and helped walk us through different delivery considerations, how to get comfortable with different positions, and guided us throughout the evening with our ideal plan in mind. She was comforting and informative, coaching through the delivery and allowing us to follow our ideal delivery plan. Following the delivery, she stayed with us to ensure we were set for our first night. Maddie has continued to check in on us and stopped by to ensure our family was doing well.

Overall, Maddie is an invaluable presence and offered a wealth of knowledge and a sense of peace during such an important day in our lives. We are lucky to have had her support in our journey and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, thoughtful and soothing presence on such an important journey.

I can't recommend Maddie enough! Maddie was truly an excellent doula for our birth. She gave us the peace of mind with my breech baby and scheduled c-section. She helped us plan for all the scenarios - good and bad which really helped me feel prepared for c-section day. She was also able to provide us lots of research and tips before going into my ECV in hopes to flip the baby. This was very helpful for me to feel prepared for the ECV. I also really appreciated her postpartum knowledge throughout the birth doula experience. She helped me feel at ease with my baby from the moment he arrived.  

My support partner and I were really impressed with her ability to put us both at ease in the operating room. She had a calming presence throughout my birth that made it feel like everything was moving in the right direction.

I could not begin to describe how much Maddie changed the trajectory of our early parenthood with just a short review. We were lucky enough to meet Maddie with our first child in 2023 on our very first evening home, when I had to head back to the hospital for postpartum preeclampsia. We left our 2 day old son with her and could not be more grateful for how comfortable and safe all of us felt during a very stressful time.

We found Maddie again for our second child in 2025 and once again felt completely at ease, learned so much from her about early newborn life (again! you tend to forget the fog), and got those precious few long stretches of sleep that wouldn't otherwise have been possible.

Your first few days and weeks really set the tone of parenthood, and feeling supported, rested, and heard are so crucial. We will forever be grateful to Maddie for her calm, steady, cheerful presence in our home during those early days.

Maddie was absolutely amazingas our birth doula. She gave us a lot of clear and great information in the pre-delivery house visits. She helped us prepare for the delivery with excercises and strategies to achieve my wife's birth goal. She was prompt and available for any questions needed answered. 

During the delivery process her presence was invaluable. She was great support, sounding board and advocate for my wife and I while communicating my wife's needs and wants with the nurses and doctors. She went far and beyond to make sure my wife and me were comfortable throughout the whole process. She is also very knowledgeable about body positioning and birth strategies that helped my wife navigate the twists and turns in our birth journey. She made the entire birth process so much more comfortable for us and we truly think her expertise, empathy and support really helped my wife achieve the ultimate goal of a healthy vaginal birth, despite many obstacles. 

Maddie is a very warm, kind person and an excellent, professional and skilled doula that we highly recommend.

Maddie was our postpartum night doula, and as first-time parents we were understandably nervous and unsure of what to expect. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, answering all our questions and teaching us essential newborn care skills such as swaddling, feeding, bathing, and product selection. Maddie was always punctual, professional, and supportive, and thanks to her we felt confident and well-rested during those early weeks.
