My wife and I hired Sharon after exploring and considering the benefits of hiring a doula to assist with the birth of our first baby. We knew that the pregnancy and delivery journey ahead would be a bit challenging having never done this before, and my wife was considered high risk. We instantly felt relief, peace, and confidence from our first discussion with Sharon about her experience and what she would bring to the table. She delivered above and beyond and was such an amazing resource for us whenever we had questions. Once things hit the delivery room, she crafted the perfect environment for us to welcome our baby - so much so that the hospital staff couldn't stop commenting on how amazing it was! She has been an incredible support during our "fourth trimester", all while supporting her own family (and 2 kids under 2 at that!). We cannot recommend Sharon enough - she is extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, professional, and attentive. We hope that you will consider her for your doula and sleep consultant needs!

Working with Sharon was one of the best decisions we made during my pregnancy. From the very beginning, she provided thoughtful, evidence-based education that helped both me and my husband feel informed and prepared for labor and delivery. I really appreciated her emphasis on the science behind each stage of birth and her calm, grounded approach throughout the journey.
Sharon checked in regularly during pregnancy and early postpartum, and her steady presence became a source of comfort. During labor, which took many unexpected turns and required several interventions, Sharon was a grounding force. She helped us slow down in moments of intensity to process our options and make informed choices, allowing me to feel empowered even as my original birth plan shifted.
As labor progressed, Sharon seemed to know exactly what to do at every stage—introducing new tools for pain management and guiding my husband through hands-on support techniques, even when he was overwhelmed by seeing me in pain. Her calm demeanor truly set the tone in the delivery room.
When I ultimately had an unplanned c-section, Sharon stayed right by my side. While my husband was (adorably) swept up in the moment of meeting our son, Sharon made sure I didn’t miss out—capturing photos and videos, and running them back to me so I could feel present while on the operating table. That gift alone was priceless.
Afterward, when sharing our story, my husband told friends and family that at first he didn’t understand why we needed a doula—but after experiencing birth with Sharon by our side, he couldn’t imagine having done it without her. Neither can I. We are so deeply grateful for her support.

I worked with Sharon while preparing for my first baby, and I’m incredibly grateful I found her. As a scientist, I was drawn to her background in science and her evidence-based approach to birth preparation. She helped me navigate the decisions in preparing for labor by walking through the facts and empowering me to advocate for my needs and birth plan.
Because my husband couldn’t be present for the birth, I knew I wanted compassionate support before, during, and after delivery—and Sharon delivered that and so much more. She met with me both in person and virtually to walk through topics like pain management, induction options, preparing for a natural birth and c-section, and what to expect in the postpartum weeks.
Sharon is warm, kind, easy to talk to, and wonderfully direct. She brings a calm and steady presence to every conversation. The night of my induction, she met me at the hospital and transformed the space with twinkle lights, aromatherapy, and flameless candles—creating a supportive environment. And she stayed in close contact as things progressed.
Though my labor and delivery didn’t go as planned, I felt confident in each decision because we had prepared for the unexpected. She talked through everything with me and ensured I felt informed and in control. When I ultimately needed a c-section, Sharon was right there in the delivery room—keeping me calm, taking precious photos, and making sure I knew what was happening every step of the way.
Even after the birth, Sharon continued to check in and connected me with additional postpartum support. What I appreciated most was her ability to have supportive and pressure-free conversations—never pushing a specific path, just helping me explore what was right for me. I can’t recommend Sharon highly enough. She made a meaningful difference in one of the most important experiences of my life, and I’m so thankful for her!

I'm so thankful to have had Sharon as my doula. We had an open line of communication throughout my pregnancy and she checked up on me regularly in the weeks leading up to my birthing time. She was also supportive of my Hypnobabies journey, which was really important to me. As someone who's a little bit of a research fiend, I also love how knowledgeable she is.
Once I was in active labor, things accelerated quickly. I wanted a hospital birth and arrived 8cm dilated. Things went so quickly my husband didn't even have time to grab our hospital bag out of the car! When she got there, Sharon was able to advocate for everything I was hoping for (delayed cord clamping, skin-to-skin, keeping the placenta, etc).
Something I also really appreciate retrospectively was how clearly I could here her speaking while birthing. There was so much going on in a hospital setting, and it could have easily been overwhelming. The only voices I remember are my husband's (who was literally leaning into my ear) and Sharon's. I needed her reminders and guidance to bring our baby into the world. We had a baby boy just shy of two hours after getting to the hospital!
If you're looking for someone that feels like a sister or trusting friend, I'd recommend her.

We came to Sharon when our daughter was 5 months old. She was sleeping fairly well at bedtime, but naps were extremely difficult, and she was bottle dependent. I was going back to work soon and needed someone besides myself to be able to put her down for naps. Within a couple of days we were able to break the feeding to sleep with the bottle, and after a week her naps started to lengthen and she would go down easily in her crib. We can't thank her enough for helping us understand daytime schedules, create a good routine and allow dad and grandma to get more involved in nap time.

We worked with Sharon to sleep train our 7 month old baby. She was great! Sharon had a consultation call with us, an introduction call after we booked her services, and provided a clear plan. She also was available to meet when needed and set up an offboarding call to give us even more info for the future. She quickly answered all of our questions through text - extremely helpful! She checked in with us and was kind. Highly recommend!

Sharon is sweet, understanding and one of those truly genuine people who really cares and has attention to details. We got a good vibe from her right away and also loved that she has a science background, we connected on a lot of the same values.
We used Sharon for our daughter's delivery, we were nervous as this was our first pregnancy and weren't sure what to expect in the delivery room. Sharon had some great insights and handouts that made us feel more prepared. At 36 weeks our baby ended up in the breeched position and had to have a scheduled C-section. Sharon helped us so much with trying to flip our baby and with emotional support for this new direction our birth was going to take. Unfortunatel, our baby had her own ideas about coming into this world upside-down despite all our hard work. Sharon came to the hospital for our C-section and was there every step of the way. We loved having her there for support and her wealth of knowledge. The C-section was successful and we have a beautiful healthy baby girl!
We would definitely hire her again in a heartbeat, hopefully next time we can have a vaginal birth and really get to see her work her magic in the delivery room!
We loved having Sharon apart of our birth story, she's the best!

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Sharon for the birth of our son. We felt supported, heard, and encouraged the entire time. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She showed me different positions to try during labor and recognized when I was starting to fatigue and made really helpful suggestions. She was very professional, kind, and empathetic. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!

My husband and I hired Sharon as our doula with the intention of having as close to a non-medicated birth as possible. We were flexible with our birth plan but preferred to have minimal interventions. Sharon was very thoughtful in helping us plan and prepare for the birth of our newborn. We met a few times before the birth and frequently texted regarding updates from prenatal appointments and occasional questions I had about symptoms. My doctor scheduled me for an induction at 39 weeks pregnant because I was high risk with gestational diabetes. I was hesitant about the induction, but ultimately went forward with it. Sharon was extremely attentive with every decision that was made and made sure to confirm with me that I was comfortable with the interventions my doctor proposed. After starting Pitocin, I was able to work through contractions with no epidural until I was 6 cm dilated. Sharon assisted by helping me get into various positions including on a medicine ball and peanut ball. She was extremely hands on the entire time, applying counter pressure and support while I worked through each contraction. Once it was time to push, Sharon continued to assist me in positions that helped baby descend into the pelvis. Sharon helped me stay motivated throughout the entire labor. I was able to have the vaginal delivery I wanted and am blessed to have a healthy and very happy little boy. I cannot thank Sharon enough for her support and will definitely be using her for my second birth.

Where to begin... to say that Sharon was an incredible doula doesn't even cover it. She made me feel informed and supported and was super organized from the very beginning of our interactions. We had an initital zoom call where I was able to determine if I wanted to work with her and I am so happy we did! Which by the way was at about 38 and half weeks, so I really procrastinated on setting this up. Aside from providing thorough information for making me feel prepared as a first time mom, covering all the topics you can think of, she was the most amazing labor and delivery support for myself and my husband. I would not have been able to do what I did without her. With the support of our other Doula, Taylor, we made it through 8hrs of labor at home and then made our way to hospital where Sharon met us at 10:30pm. She had the peanut ball in hand and was ready for anything and everything. I have a husband who was in the trenches with us the entire time, so he of course did a lot of the heavy lifting through labor, and Sharon was his counterpart in the most amazing way. Anything he wasn't really covering whether it was pressure on my back or verbal cues, or mantras, or position adjustment to further help me along she was right there guiding him and myself through everything. I had the most incredible birth experience thanks to her support. I chose to go sans epidural or any pain meds and it made a difference for me to feel that we had a whole team. I'm so grateful for her support leading up to birth and through the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Thank you, you are a special woman. I forgot to mention she was 26 weeks pregnant with her second while in the delivery room with us. WILD. Just a super woman. Thank you.

Sharon is absolutely amazing. I was late in my pregnancy when I decided I wanted to have a birth doula, 37 weeks and feeling like I needed more support as I prepared for a natural water birth. The level of care that she provided in such a short time exceeded my expectations in every way and I have no idea how I would have gotten my baby here without her! Her calming presence made me feel so much more at ease, and her knowledge of every stage of birth and labor is very evident in the way she educated and supported me through the experience. She helped me into various positions to ease contractions and move my baby down, was encouraging and didn't match my moments of fear or doubt, and offered helpful breathing techniques and physical tools to alleviate pain like a birthing ball, tens machine, back roller, comb, and her own two hands! I had a challenging labor that lasted three days, and I think if not for Sharon's support I might have given up on my plan to deliver naturally and ended up in the hospital. But I did it, and I safely delivered my sweet boy the way I planned - unmedicated and in a birthing pool, surrounded by the people that guided me through it. She captured these moments for me on my phone as well! Thank you for everything Sharon - we love you!
