Amanda is on time with her schedules and provides advices with personal experience. She’s definitely on the cautious side with baby care. Bonus point she makes really good meals.

Amanda was amazing! Knowledgeable, professional, and so so helpful to us as new parents. We were so thankful for the information and the help, and felt more capable to meet parenthood head on after her visit. Would highly recommend!!

We have now had the blessing of working with Amanda Nafey twice through the postpartum period of our last two children. She was nothing short of a Godsend. From the moment she stepped into our home, her kindness and tenderness was evident.

Amanda instinctively understood how to care for our newborns.  She is kind, confident, patient, and deeply nurturing.  Not only did she care for our newborns but she embraced our older kids with warmth and created a peaceful environment in our home. She took the reins without hesitation, so my wife could rest, recover, and bond with baby.

What truly set Amanda apart was her thoughtful attention to all our needs. She even prepared meals in bulk for us! Meals we could freeze and simply pop into the oven or the crock pot, which simplified our lives during a time when every moment and ounce of energy counted.

We can’t imagine having navigated postpartum without her. If you are seeking a doula who will support you physically, emotionally, and spiritually, we cannot recommend Amanda highly enough.

Thank you, Amanda, for the gift of your presence, your care, and your heart!

Amanda was an actual sanity saver. My husband and I couldn't be more thankful to have had her help our family. Amanda came to help me after my husband went back to work and I felt so overwhelmed with our first. She helped identify feeding issues our little was having and got us connected with an amazing feeding therapist. She helped us figure out how to get our little to sleep without laying on top of my husband or I and even helped us transfer our little into her crib. More than anything though she listened and made me feel like everything was in fact manageable and that I could do it. When I had some questions even after Amanda wasn't working with us any longer she was so responsive - it helped soothe my anxious mom brain. I genuinely could not recommend working with Amanda enough - she changed so much for us and we now have such a happy smiley active baby (and get enough sleep to actually enjoy that).

As a twin mom, finding someone who truly understands the unique challenges of caring for two newborns at once was essential—and Amanda was exactly that person. Her own experience as a twin mom made her guidance incredibly relevant and reassuring. From the very beginning, Amanda was a pillar of support during my fourth trimester.

When I struggled with latching, Amanda quickly helped me connect with a skilled lactation consultant. Later, when we transitioned to bottle feeding, she was instrumental in resolving feeding issues and ensuring both babies were thriving. Her recommendations on safe baby-care essentials, swaddling techniques, and setting up all the new gadgets were spot-on and saved us so much time and stress.

Beyond her expertise, Amanda was a compassionate sounding board. She was professional yet so easy to talk to, always making sure our family felt supported and heard. Her advice on establishing routines and structure has had a lasting impact—my babies are doing so well today, and I truly believe Amanda’s guidance played a major role in that.

I can’t recommend Amanda highly enough. If you’re a new parent—especially a twin parent—her support is invaluable.

Amanda has helped with two of my newborns. Amanda comes in with confidence, but not the make you feel uncomfortable kind of confidence. She knows what needs to get done. Overwhelmed and don’t know how to ask for help or even what to ask? She just does it. She steps in with such care and does it with ease. From cooking to feeding to cleaning to giving helpful advice…. the list goes on for what she provided for me while caring for my daughter and then my son. I would have Amanda back in a heartbeat.

Hiring Amanda as our postpartum doula was one of the best decisions we made as a family. After my C-section, her support was absolutely vital to my recovery. I was able to truly rest, knowing that everything was under control- from caring for our baby to keeping our home calm and organized. Amanda has a warm, grounding presence, and she brings such competence and care into everything she does.

On top of it all, she’s an amazing cook! Every meal she prepared was both nourishing and delicious, and having that kind of thoughtful support in those early weeks meant the world to us.

I truly couldn’t have done it without her. If I were ever to have another child, I couldn’t imagine going through the postpartum period without Amanda by my side. She is a gift
