My Experience with Audrey

For starters was absolutely more than amazing I’ve truly never met someone so enduring throughout such an intense encounter like birth this was my second birth and she definitely made it all the worth while my labor was long and hard and she stayed by my side until the end

and checked in on me afterwards if I ever get pregnant again I’m telling her ASAP :)

And if I know anyone who is pregnant or thinking of trying to conceive I would refer them to Ms.Early ?? She’s not just exceedingly knowledgeable about birth but she has great compassion to pair it with she completely prevented a C-section for me with her due diligence to affirm me in my lowest at the point of wanting to give up she’s a cheerleader that’s for sure I thank God for Audrey ??

Audrey was absolutely amazing! We had an initial meeting to go over my birth preferences and get to know one another. I was planning for a home birth so she attended my 36 week appointment with my midwives. Once I got to term she was on call for me and messaged me for check ins and updates on my pregnancy. When I went into labor I messaged her that my water broke and once my contractions got intense I messaged her to head my way. She got there quickly and was an amazing support from the start. My midwives arrived shortly after and I was in transition. I was in the tub and Audrey helped me with breathing, she had a birthing comb and she talked me through every single contraction. I got out of the tub and she helped with counter pressure (10/10!!) and guided my husband to help with counter pressure too. Throughout my entire labor she was by my side talking through each contraction. I started pushing and she held a fan on me and brought me water. I realized that the baby wasn’t crowning so I decided on going to the hospital. Audrey was by my side the whole time even though we are all so tired. I got to the hospital and received an epidural and a bit of rest. I started pushing again and Audrey was by my side holding my leg. After 9 hours of pushing at home and in the hospital, I was offered the option of forceps and Audrey helped me through with informed decision making. I decided to go through with that and unfortunately it did not help baby move through pelvis. I then proceeded through with a c-section. Baby came perfectly healthy. Audrey was such an amazing doula, even with all of the twists and turns of my birth she was there! I honestly don’t think I could’ve gotten through the pain free portion of my labor if she wasn’t by my side. She is so caring and comforting. I recommend her a million percent. Audrey was a crucial part of my birthing team and my husband and I thank her greatly!
