I cannot recommend Mayra highly enough as a postpartum doula. From the very beginning, her deep knowledge of newborn care was evident, and I learned so much from her during our time together. She played a huge role in helping us establish a routine for Oliver and laying the foundation for healthy sleep habits.

Mayra was incredibly loving and patient with Oliver, always attentive to his needs and gentle in her approach. She was just as supportive of me—whether it was offering guidance, reassurance, or simply being a calming presence during those early, overwhelming weeks.

She also provided invaluable suggestions when it came to bottles, formulas, and even encouraged us to get a tongue-tie consultation, which made a significant difference. Her expertise and thoughtful suggestions helped us navigate challenges with confidence instead of stress.

I truly credit my time working with Mayra for helping me grow into a confident first-time parent. Her support was transformative, and I’m so grateful that we still keep in contact today. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her by their side during the postpartum journey.

Words cannot express how grateful we were to have Mayra as our doula for our first baby in the Bay Area. We worked with her for 5 months, and she is truly is an exceptional doula.

Mayra taught us how to provide the very best care for our baby boy. She is extremely gentle and experienced with babies, and wonderful with doggies. She is kind, patient, fun, respectful and a true pleasure to be around. We’ve worked with other doulas and nannies, but no one compares to Mayra! 

We have very fond memories of Mayra that we will cherish forever. We continue to stay in close touch with her, as she’ll always be part of our little family!

Mayra was an absolute lifesaver for us during the first few weeks with our daughter. From the very first night, her presence was invaluable. She's incredibly knowledgeable and answered all our questions with confidence and care, which gave my husband and me the reassurance and confidence we needed to be better parents.
Mayra was always punctual, arriving ready to help in any way she could. She'd care for our daughter, but also took the initiative to help with light cleaning and organizing, which was a huge help when we were so sleep-deprived. Her caring nature and gentle guidance made a world of difference, and we honestly don't know what we would have done without her. We highly recommend Mayra to any new parents!

We had such a wonderful experience with Mayra!

I was referred to Mayra from another doula and I'm so grateful we found her. We had Mayra for 6 nights (spread across 3 weeks) and she was a lifesaver as we juggled life with a newborn, very little sleep,  and our toddler adjusting. In terms of communication, Mayra is amazing. She stayed in constant communication around how the nights went with our newborn (detailed log of wake ups, feedings, diaper changes, burps etc) and was so great checking on me. She was able to recommend not only a few things for myself (ointment for myself dealing with engorged breasts) but also different bottle nipples we could use with my daughter to help with her gas and reflux. All which worked wonders!

Mayra is extremely kind, calm, and warm. Everything you'd want in a doula and someone to trust with your new baby. I would love to continue using Mayra and would 100% recommend her!

Mayra was our night doula for our first daughter, and we have nothing but positive things to say about her — she’s a great communicator, an amazing caretaker, always so professional but also personable, and really good at what she does. What I really appreciated is her expertise (she knows what to do to help extend sleep, etc.) but also her flexibility (depending on how you’re feeding and what strategies you might want to implement, she’s happy to adjust). Our daughter was sleeping through the night by 12 weeks and while every baby is different, hitting that milestone without Mayra wouldn't have been possible. She was such an important part of our postpartum journey, and we are so lucky to have worked with her!

Mayra was absolutely wonderful. She was a postpartum doula for our youngest child and her support was so helpful as we transitioned home into new routines. She was timely, professional, knowledgeable, super helpful, and just really comfortable to have in our home. We recommend her highly.

Today I just want to thank Mayra for everything she have done for me and for my family since day one. 
When I found out that I was pregnant, I knew that everything would change in my life, I was happy, excited, and afraid , I didn't know to much but I knew I had to find some help because everything was new for me. And I found my angel , Mayra was there with me since the beginning, no matter what time I send her a message she would reply right away. She helped me to set up all my stuffs , gave me advice about what should  buy for the baby, she helped me with exercises to get ready for birth, and the most important thing, she was there for me, she came to the hospital at 4 am  she was in another shift and thank god her other client was so understanding that I needed her that time. She came and I felt so relive , she helped me with respiratory exercises, she gave me her hand , she even helped my husband who we thought was gonna pass out haha she was everywhere, she putted wet tawel in my forehead, she helped me to push , she encouraged me when I thought I couldn't do it , and she cried with me when my baby came to this world. And she still here , helping me more than ever, making this journey a little bit easier,she's the one I trust with my whole heart, 

Mayra it's not just a professional doula, she's a such human being, thank you for everything , thank you for choosing doing what u do.

Working with Mayra for 12 weeks was one of the best decisions we made for our family! Her gentle presence and incredible knowledge made our postpartum experience much smoother and more joyful. From the moment she joined us, Mayra brought a sense of calm and comfort that helped us confidently navigate those early weeks.

She offered many practical tips and invaluable support, whether helping soothe our baby, offering advice on feeding, or simply being there for us with a compassionate ear and a kind word. She didn't just care for our little one with such genuine love, but she also ensured I felt cared for and understood as a new parent. Her guidance, empathy, and dedication made a difference during this precious time.

Our family is very fortunate to have Mayra as our night doula during the first 6 weeks postpartum. 

Mayra is very professional yet friendly and puts us at ease with her calming presence. I really like that she brings a wide range of infant and postpartum care knowledge and skills (from hand expression for breast milk, massage to relieve gas, burping techniques, nursery lighting and temperature, sponge bath, etc.) At the end of each night, she would also send us a detailed summary of feeding, diaper, and sleeping activities so we can review, discuss, and set up a routine that would work best for us. She is very respectful of our family's preferences such as pacifier use, bottle, sanitizing methods, etc.

Lastly, what I really appreciate is that her service doesn't end after the 8-hour night shift, she would check in with us throughout the day and message us during her off hours to provide recommendations and links/tutorials for us to learn about various newborn care questions that we have as first time parents. Her check-ins during the day also provide great emotional support to our family, as it makes us feel like we always have someone to answer our questions and be there for us. She also checks in on our mental well-being and that's something I did not expect and really appreciate.

Overall, I am extremely thankful to have Mayra and the care that she provided our family.
