Kelsey provided stellar postpartum support after the birth of our second child. She offered calm and steady feeding support, answering questions and offering tips and tricks. As a second time mom, breastfeeding was less complex overall, however was not without its challenges. She even coached me through a particularly demoralizing and persistent case of thrush--I couldn't have survived those early overwhelming and sleep deprived weeks without her. 

In addition to her care of baby and me, she helped support our toddler navigate BIG feelings as she adjusted to her role of big sister. She outlined an easy to follow plan, suggested tweaks to our toddler's routine and even hand crafted tools for her to express her emotions. 

Though we only had a limited number of sessions, Kelsey's compassionate care not just of me but our household as a whole made my postpartum experience so much less lonely and isolating this time around. Kelsey is truly amazing and anyone would be lucky to work with her!

Kelsey has been with our family from the beginning--coaching and guiding us throughout pregnancy, at the hospital through dramatic and scary birth, and now helping us with our toddler. Her years of knowledge and experience is invaluable. Her kindness is a gift. She's truly a talented dula, and if we have another baby, I would not think twice about asking for her expertise again.

I have nothing but glowing things to say about Kelsey. She became an integral part of our family rhythm only a few weeks after we had our daughter, and was an incredible help on so many fronts. She gave us breaks when we needed them, provided us bonding time with our daughter while she took a care of key new child items like cleaning bottles, gave us education and confidence on how to care for our child and, most importantly, just so much love and care for our daughter. Kelsey is attentive, observant, inquisitive and anticipatory of your needs in a way that always feels supportive and never too much. She manages the perfect balance of following your lead and style while also showing the way. From the earliest newborn days our daughter felt comfortable with spending time with Kelsey and our daughter has had so much fun. It has been a gift to have an additional loving care taker in her life. It has been a incredible relief to know how well cared for our daughter and family have been. Kelsey is incredible and if you have the ability to have her in your life, do it. You will have zero regrets.

Hiring Kelsey postpartum was the best decision we could have made. I struggled with PPD/PPA. Kelsey guided me through signing up for additional supports/resources outside of the home. She also gently supported and guided me through areas as a new mother I felt sensitive in and helped build my confidence to navigate through this transformative experience in becoming parents. We'd be lost without her expertise and tender nature.
