We feel so lucky to have had Ayanna as our birth doula. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond. Checking in with me during pregnancy, making herself available to answer questions, and providing the kind of reassurance that helped me go into labor feeling supported and informed.

My delivery ended up being long and complex, stretching over 24+ hours and involving both an episiotomy and a vacuum delivery. Through every twist and turn, Ayanna never wavered. She was by our side the entire time. Grounded, calm, and a strong advocate to keep the experience as natural and intervention-free as possible, while also respecting my needs and choices. She supported not just me, but my husband as well, making sure he felt confident and included in the process.

Her care didn’t stop once the baby arrived. Ayanna continued to check in on me, including multiple times postpartum, even ten weeks after birth, to remind me that healing takes time and that I was doing a great job. Those check-ins meant the world to me and helped me feel seen and encouraged during a vulnerable time.

I am deeply grateful for her compassion, strength, and unwavering presence. Having Ayanna as our doula was one of the best decisions we made, and without a doubt, I’ll want her by my side again for my next pregnancy.
