Doula Training

Postpartum limits/restrictions: I trained as a postpartum doula at The Sanctuary Birth & Family Wellness Center in Los Angeles during pregnancy with my son. After supporting women through they postpartum periods, someone suggested I take the plunge and I am so very glad I did! It is always a unique honor to support families in this life-changing period of time. Every dynamic is special. I have had the joy of supporting families for 11 years now. When we align together, this transition can be done with grace, joy, and healing! My particular favorite things to help with are processing the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum/ breastfeeding experience with birthing parents, offering resources and education, and cooking nourishing foods for your family. Day shifts only available at this time. I do not participate in any form of unresponsive care/ cry-it-out or corporeal punishment for older children. Preference for holistic families as my services will best align with those who have similar values. :)

Relevant volunteer or advocacy work

I trained at The Sanctuary Birth & Family Wellness Center, a hub for the West Los Angeles birth workers community during it's time. I am an IBCLC and mentor to IBCLC candidates. I have donated countless hours to supporting low-income families as a doula and IBCLC.

Fee Details

Sliding scale available for contract of 20+ hrs. $35/ singleton; $45/ twins There is always an option for those who need support. ALL families are entitled. Priority given to families in financial limitations and single parents.
