I hired Courtney last minute for my first birth and I'm so glad I did!  I really thought that giving birth was going to be a piece of cake but the last few weeks I started to get nervous! Courtney was a life saver and really helped through my grueling 17 hour labor. I went in with my water breaking and she came a few hours later when contractions started. She helped me voice my concerns and went above and beyond to make my birth a wonderful experience. She was a calming energy in an intense situation. She was knowledgeable and helped my husband stay calm as well. Overall, I loved having her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!
