Hallie was our post Partum Doula and from the get go she was exceptional with our baby girl , she was warm and caring for her the nights she watched our little one . We are so thankful for her service and our lovely nights of sleep. Would highly recommend Hallie if you are looking for a post Partum Doula. We love you  Hallie and what you do for this community .

I cannot recommend working with Hallie enough. When I first met Hallie, it was clear to me after only a few minutes that she was the right doula for us. Her kindness, empathy and gentle energy shone through immediately and I knew we would be in good hands.
 
What I liked best about working with Hallie during my pregnancy was her complete lack of judgement. She makes it clear she is there to inform and ensure you have all of the facts so that you can confidently make the best decisions for yourself and your baby. She doesn’t judge or try to influence your birth plan decisions but will give her opinion on pros and cons if you ask – aka the perfect thought partner. I was diagnosed with GD during my pregnancy, and Hallie was able to quickly connect me with resources to better understand the diagnosis as well as recipes to help manage my blood sugar through diet. Hallie also regularly and proactively checked in with me throughout my pregnancy, which is something I really appreciate because I am not always the best texter. She made it easy to stay in touch and keep her in the loop. 

When it came to labor, Hallie was so amazing. I went into labor almost two weeks early with little warning, and Hallie jumped right into action. She met us at the hospital and immediately was able to help soothe the stress of a very fast / intense labor and prepare me for my epidural. She worked seamlessly with the hospital team even though it was her first time at Danbury Hospital, and knew exactly when to step in or step back. She guided my husband on how to support me during pushing and just overall was a fantastic support partner to us both. She stayed with us for a few hours after delivery to make sure we were settled and comfortable, and we were sad to see her go. 

Hallie was an integral part of our pretty perfect birth experience and story – if you are on the fence about hiring a doula, please look no further than Hallie!

Before working with Hallie, I wasn’t sure if a doula was necessary. As the father and husband, I thought I could handle everything on my own and easily figure out how to best support my wife during pregnancy and labor. But from our very first meeting, it became clear how invaluable her guidance would be. Hallie helped us prepare for labor in ways I hadn’t even considered, coaching me on how to best support my wife and giving us both the confidence to go into the birth feeling ready. Her knowledge, calm presence, and reassurance made all the difference, not just for my wife but for me as well.

When the big day came, Hallie’s support allowed me to focus fully on my wife without feeling overwhelmed. She helped create a peaceful and positive environment, offering guidance when we needed it and stepping back when we didn’t. Thanks to her preparation and presence, I felt more capable and engaged, which ultimately made the entire birth experience better for both of us. Looking back, I can’t imagine going through it without her, and I’d highly recommend Hallie to anyone—even if you think you don’t need a doula, she will absolutely prove you wrong in the best way possible.

Hallie is a deeply intuitive, highly educated, absolutely remarkable human and doula! Hallie was responsive to all of our needs throughout my pregnancy and during labor and birth. When I became pregnant with my first baby, I wanted a home birth but a hospital birth ended up feeling the most aligned for my partner and I - Hallie helped me feel so comfortable in the hospital and I am forever grateful. I felt a connection immediately when I first interviewed Hallie, and it just blossomed from there. She helped us build a birth plan that reflected how I wanted myself and baby to be treated, yet allowed for flexibility. My husband and I loved learning about the rebozo and felt like we were even more connected with the tools she gave us. Her ability to help me feel fully supported so I could be my authentic self will always be near and dear to my heart as I reflect on my birth experience. I truly achieved a dream birth (even though it deviated from the “plan!”) with Hallie’s love and care. I ended up accepting pitocin to help move things along, and I was pretty upset about it at first. Thankfully, Hallie was supportive of all of my choices and a huge reason why I was able to manage the discomfort without an epidural. She intuitively knew what counter pressure would be helpful and had so many amazing suggestions to keep me moving and comfortable. I loved walking the hallways with her, trying out different positions during the most challenging contractions, and simply having her beautiful energy in the room. Her postpartum visit was incredible as well, and we had a great time reflecting on the birth. I recommend Hallie’s doula services to anyone expecting a baby. The word that keeps coming up for me is support - true, holistic, loving support. No judgment, just a true desire to support women in their birth goals. Hallie is deeply gifted and intelligent and my husband and I are so thankful she was with us as we welcomed our baby into the world.

The moment I found out I was pregnant with my second child, I knew I wanted a doula this time. Hallie was actually the 2nd doula I hired in my pregnancy because I wasn’t feeling the support I was looking for with my original doula. One of the most important things when choosing a doula is finding someone who you feel connected to and fully supports your needs. I was already 3/4 done with my pregnancy when I reached out to Hallie, but she stepped in with love and support in all the ways I needed. I am so thankful for her and her gift of birth-working. If it wasn’t for her support during my labor by making sure that I was moving body between contractions, walking the halls with me, and just being there with me at an emotional level, I don’t think I would have accomplished a natural, un-medicated birth. I will forever be grateful that she helped me bring my beautiful baby into this world and would absolutely recommend her to any of my sisters entering their birth portal. ????

I hired Hallie to support me during my home birth and she went above and beyond. She was the constant calming presence I desperately needed throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. During pregnancy she made my dreams come true by facilitating a Mother’s blessing for me. During which I felt the most love and support I ever had and she continued those wonderful feelings through the rest of my experience with her. She trusted her instincts and expertise when I was in denial about how far along I was in the labor process and made sure she came in time to be able to support me during my incredibly fast birth. She helped me breathe and held my hand during the hardest parts, and after she made sure my voice was heard. I can not recommend Hallie enough for someone who is looking to be heard, and deeply loved.

Hallie was amazing! We hired her for our first pregnancy and we are so glad we did! All throughout she was constantly checking in and always there if I had questions. She listened to what type of birth I wanted and gave me the information I needed to make certain decisions when creating my birth plan. Hallie never once was judgmental or pushy, she truly just wanted to support us and our decisions. For labor prep and practice, Hallie taught my husband and I tricks with our rebozo as well as counter pressure ideas. When the time came to give birth, Hallie was very attentive to what I needed and/or wanted. She was prepared in all ways in order to help me achieve my dream birth. Which is exactly what I got! My husband and I are so thankful for Hallie’s help, and recommend her 1,000x over!
