Tierra made our birthing experience truly special. She was with us every step of the way and was such a steady advocate for us in the delivery room. It really felt like we had a friend and guide throughout the entire process and we felt completely safe and secure in her hands. We've remained in touch and she feels like a part of our extended family. We cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable doula.

Working with Tierra as my doula was an incredible experience. From the very beginning, she brought such a warm, welcoming energy to every conversation and meeting—we instantly felt at ease around her. I was lucky enough to have Tierra as my doula for the birth of my second child. I could not recommend her more highly. 

From the first phone call with her, her incredibly warm and positive personality were immediately evident. Besides being a skilled and empathetic professional, she is a volcano of good vibes, who consistently brought me optimism and support through every step of my birthing journey. 
During the final phases of my pregnancy, she empowered me with evidence-based knowledge, practical advice, and emotional support. During my labor and delivery, she was this amazing presence who supported me wholeheartedly, a calming voice who reminded me of my birthing wishes and goals in the moments in which I needed it the most, besides offering physical support and many tools and comfort measures for helping me better cope with the intensity of a completely natural, unmedicated birth. 

Ahead of the birth, she really took the time to get to know me and my husband, my past history, and my birthing wishes, which really put her in the position to advocate for me in the right way when I felt most vulnerable. 
In the end, the birth of my son was an amazing and overwhelmingly positive experience, thanks to Tierra's help in preparing me for it, and also, of course, going through it.

My husband and I are first time parents and knew we needed more information and care than we could get at the obgyn.  I found I would be visiting a group of 7 doctors and noticed appointments were 15 minutes on average. We wanted someone to support us, someone who would care to get to know us and also help us navigate all the internet dos and don'ts.  This is why we chose to work with Tierra! 

Tierra made me and my husband feel cared for all the way up to the day I gave birth by making sure we were informed for our doctor's visits, helping us write a birth framework, responding to concerns along the way, as well as providing an online folder of articles we could read to understand the birthing process more.

We loved Tierra's loving nature!  We also loved Tierra's thoroughness with communicating not just about the physical but the mental process we as a family were going through.  The emotional and social parts of this were super helpful to navigate with Tierra at our side.  

Lastly, we have to say we truly felt Tierra encouraged us to make decisions that were best for our family. We didn't feel boxed in or pressured.  We were so grateful for this!

We are sure that the birthing experience would have been completely different without Tierra!  She is a cherished partner in the journey to having our son. ??
