Shannon was an absolute gift throughout my entire pregnancy and birth experience. From the moment we connected during our initial call, she brought such a joyful yet also calming and grounded presence that made both me and my husband feel supported, informed, and truly cared for as first time parents who had a million questions. She came over multiple times to drop off various tools and things to help support the aches/pains that third trimester brought. She listened deeply, advocated for my preferences, and helped me feel confident in every decision, especially as I was recommended to have a spontaneous induction at 39 weeks. She was a phone call away after that appointment ready to debrief and help my process through a whirlwind of emotions and helped me to understand all of my options and feel more confident in my decision making. During labor, her guidance, reassurance, and very hands-on support made all the difference — I genuinely don’t know how I would have navigated my unmedicated birth without her. She has a great working relationship with multiple midwives at Evergreen Hospital as well, and they all respect and appreciate her support just as much as I do. Shannon is compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to her families. Having her come over to visit and meet our daughter for our postnatal visit was so special. It was also important to my husband and me to have a doula on our team that shares in our Christian faith and the Lord answered that prayer through Shannon who prayed for and with us numerous times after confirming that would be alright and helped to keep my faith at the forefront of my pregnancy and labor process. I cannot recommend her enough to any mama hoping to expand their birth team!

I can’t say enough positive things about Shannon being our birth doula. She is warm, genuine and keen to help both partners throughout the entire process. She shared insightful resources to help me prepare, was attentive and extremely helpful during the actual birth and still checks in on us even after our son’s delivery. I couldn’t imagine my birth experience without her and highly recommend her to anyone!

Shannon was Amazing to work with!  We couldn’t have had a better person by our side for the birth of our son! She was calm and collected through the whole experience and kept a timeline of the birth for us.  That timeline was such a blessing since my memory was fuzzy due to stress and pain killers from the labor.  My husband even mentioned that he’s never been so happy to spend a chunk of money before which is a high compliment from him since he’s not a fan of big purchases. She was also available for a couple overnights to watch our boy so we could sleep through the night which was incredibly helpful. We can’t recommend her highly enough and we’re looking forward to hiring her again when our next baby comes around! ??

My husband and I cannot put into words how valuable Shannon's help was for our birth and initial transition back home. My birth was far from what was expected and the flexibility, understanding and reassurance we received from her was priceless. Shannon's skills for baby care and family care is what carried us through a premature delivery, readmission back into hospital for complications and finally helping to establish normalcy and routine when finally back home. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and we are deeply moved and appreciative.

Shannon is an amazing doula. She was the post partum doula and helped take care of our little girl from 2 weeks old for a couple nights a week. Shannon was always on time, very thorough, detail oriented and genuinely cared about our baby. She was meticulous and also helped us sleep train. I feel incredibly lucky to have had her support during my post  partum.

Shannon was truly amazing, and everything I needed in a doula! From the first time we talked I felt such a warm connection and could tell she is doing what she loves being a doula. She anticipated my needs and helped me think through decisions of labor. I went into labor at 12:30am on Mother’s Day (sorry Shannon) and she had no problem staying with me all of Mother’s Day instead of being with her family while I had my beautiful baby girl. I would recommend Shannon to anyone! She still makes it a point to stay in touch checking in periodically for me and my daughter which I really appreciate.

Shannon was beyond exceptional as my doula! I had a complicated situation as my baby has a heart defect and from birth til postpartum Shannon has been intentive of mine and my families unique needs! Having her on my birth team was such a gift-- and during labor and delivery I felt safe knowing she was there.

Shannon has known me since I was 8 years old and it was so special to have her help me bring my first baby into the world. She was diligent in checking in with me pre and post birth. She encouraged me to listen to my body and follow my instincts throughout the birthing process and postpartum. I would recommend her to anyone I know looking for a doula.
