We feel incredibly fortunate to have Maya as our night doula during this newborn phase. As second-time parents, we know how exhausting those first weeks can be, and Maya makes a huge difference. She is consistently reliable, always on time, and someone we trust completely with our baby—giving us the peace of mind to actually rest and recover.

Maya is also just a lovely presence to have in our home. She’s calm, kind, and easy to talk to—someone who immediately puts us at ease. She supports all of our feeding choices without judgment, whether bringing the baby to me to nurse or offering bottles so I can sleep or pump. Her flexibility and attentiveness make nighttime feel so much more manageable.

She regularly goes above and beyond, helping with light household tasks like folding laundry and emptying the dishwasher. These thoughtful touches make our days feel noticeably smoother and less stressful.

On top of all that, Maya occasionally babysits our toddler, who absolutely adores her. Knowing both our kids are in such good hands is a rare and invaluable kind of support.

Whether you’re a first-time parent or not, having Maya’s help at night is a game changer. Her presence helps us feel more rested, capable, and supported during a time that’s often incredibly overwhelming. We can’t recommend her enough!

Mayara (Maya) is hands down the most incredible doula and caregiver we've had the pleasure of working with. Honest, efficient, empathetic, she adapted to our needs and communicated openly. She cared for our newborn from day one, visiting before birth and staying overnight at the hospital, aiding my c-section recovery and breastfeeding. At home, she established routines and patiently helped with bottle feeds. She brought joy, shared her culture, and bonded with our toddler, even baking for him. She was always reliable, working extra hours when needed, and ensuring I rested. After a bad doula experience with our first baby, Maya restored our faith. Her support was invaluable, making the newborn phase manageable and truly pleasant. She has a natural gift with children of all ages—our toddler bonded with her immediately and still asks about her often. She even went out of her way to bake and prepare meals for him. Maya quickly became an integral part of our family, and continues to be. Even though she lived far away, Maya was always on time and oftentimes left after her scheduled time. Sometimes when I would need a quick nap before my toddler arrived from daycare, Maya waited until I woke up and then leave as she wanted to make sure I was well rested. We have had a previous bad experience with a Doula for our first kid and had a negative impression of the value of Doulas but Maya changed all of that. Without Maya’s support, love, and dedication we would not be able to navigate the newborn phase, recovery, and adjustment to being parents of two. We are beyond grateful for her. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her as part of their support team.

Mayara worked with our family as a night doula for 12 weeks after our third child (a boy) was born. She is caring, professional, knowledgable, and experienced with babies. She was flexible with our needs and even helped out with the two older kids in the evenings, which really stuck out to me. She wanted to help however she can. With our baby, she was attentive to detail, very warm, and I felt 100% comfortable going to bed knowing he was in good hands. Our family highly recommends her.

I would like to enthusiastically recommend Maya for the position of a night doula. Maya worked as a nanny for our family for 1.5 years, taking care of our daughter and another little boy the same age in a nanny share arrangement. Maya started with our family when our daughter was just six months old. From the very beginning, we were deeply
impressed with Maya's dedication and natural aptitude for caring for children. She is responsible, punctual, loving, warm, and direct in her communication. She has a real passion for working with children and can stay calm in stressful situations.  One of Maya's most outstanding qualities is her incredible rapport with children. Our daughter developed a deep and lasting bond with Maya. She still comes over to visit and my daughter climbs all over giving hugs and kisses, which is not her default mode! Maya has a lot of experience with babies and will undoubtedly provide exceptional care and support to families in need during those insane night-time hours.

Mayara was top quality professional caregiver. She was a critical part of our support team during our first 6 weeks with our son. Even before our son was born she provided helpful resources to help us prepare for his arrival. Once he was born we knew that we’d be guaranteed a decent amount of sleep the nights she worked with us. We knew that our son was in caring and competent hands while we rested. She helped make nighttime pumping easier by bringing supplies to our room and washing parts afterward. She also logged our son’s feeding, sleep, and diapers so we could keep track.

Mayara also offered guidance on breastfeeding, swaddling, and bedtime routines. This helped give us more confidence as new parents.

In addition to being such a thoughtful caregiver, she was very organized and flexible about scheduling and communicated with us on the days when she wasn’t working at our home. We enjoyed being around Mayara and highly recommend her to other parents of newborns.

Maya is such a big help to our family! Our lives became instantly easier when she was working with us. She is a pro at taking care of my two girls and taking care of our home. We had her helping get the girls to school in the mornings and around the house while they were at school. Could trust her to run with running errands and various household responsibilities with minimal direction. She understands what needs to get done, has good instincts and is very communicative. On top of all that, she truly loves the girls and spending time with them. A gem and one we are so lucky to have had in our lives.

Mayara nannied for our family for 1.5 years. She is wonderful with babies, punctual, and communicative. She's highly motivated to provide a wonderful experience and give your babies lots of love. You'd be lucky to have her work for you and your family.
