Hi there! My name is Bianca and I'd love to introduce myself! I have been working with parents and children for 10+ years now, so birth advocacy was a natural next step. I was just sitting in the back of a community event when an older woman spoke into me "you should be a doula." Without knowing me or exchanging words beforehand she had spoken into me something I was meditating on for months. This was the call to action. The first day of my doula training, I turned the camera off and sobbed to myself - this line of work is an honor and a privilege. Birth is a vulnerable moment, and I believe you can have an experience that is transformative, empowering, and satisfying. Labor is uncertain, and no one can promise certain outcomes, but I will stand by your side, navigating any twists and turns, encouraging you, and figuring it out together. I completed my training through DONA International and am giving a discounted rate to my last client until certification. I am expanding my education and services to postpartum services and newborn specialty care. I will provide continuous physical and emotional support. I will uplift and speak life into you, the birth, and your baby. I will ensure your partner feels equipped to support your needs. My ultimate goal is to help you have a satisfying birthing experience, as you define it, and ensure you feel loved through it all.
