We are so fortunate to have found Eugenia to be our postpartum Doula. She is the perfect mix of professional, efficient, extremely knowledgeable, as well as warm, compassionate, and very relatable. She taught us lots of practical skills to help us take care of our newborn and also helped to make us feel more confident and less anxious during a very challenging time as brand new parents. She also helped us identify a few minor health issues so we could work with our pediatrician to get everything cleared up for our little one. We are so grateful to have had Eugenia’s help for the first few weeks of our baby’s life. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a postpartum Doula!

I cannot say enough good things about Eugenia. She was a postpartum night doula when my husband and I had our first, and also came for a few daytime sessions. She is deeply empathetic, reassuring, supportive, knowledgeable, and highly skilled in caring for infants as well understanding what their parents might need in those early postpartum days. Eugenia helped us learn and improve on skills that we hadn't anticipated needing before having our baby, or that we didn't realize could be as confusing or complex as they sometimes were (and everything is harder at 2am!), like pumping, nursing, preparing bottles, settling our baby, determining how many layers he should wear at night, even giving him his first bath (which we were nervous to do). Eugenia is kind and reliable and so experienced that she anticipates what babies AND parents might need before they realize they need it, such as helping a nursing mom stay hydrated by offering to prepare a mug of tea and refilling water bottles. Eugenia always arrived on time and ready to debrief with us about how the day had gone to help everyone get prepared for her overnight shift, which was a source of reassuring consistency during an unpredictable time. On mornings she'd been here, we knew that when we came upstairs we would find not only a settled baby, but also thoroughly cleaned and sanitized baby supplies and washed/dried/folded baby laundry, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Our son had feeding and weight-gain issues early on and she was able to provide additional context to what the doctors had told us during rushed office visits so that we felt more informed, and often had helpful suggestions for nursing and bottle-feeding techniques that provided benefits and support in-between visits with my lactation consultant. My husband and I don't know how we would have gotten through that early postpartum period without her support. I would highly recommend her to any parent or caregiver with no reservations!

Eugenia is an incredible doula and I hope that I'm able to work with her again if we have a second child! She has a gift and was so in touch with what our baby needed and preferred from the first time that they met. Our son felt so comfortable and cared for by Eugenia, which put us at ease. She helped us learn as first time parents and was always open to offering advice when we asked for it. She is clearly passionate about her work and she's so talented and caring with newborns. She helped soothe and comfort our son when he was dealing with gas as a newborn. Eugenia is a wonderful person to work with during the newborn phase. She was always on time and even stayed late if there were extra items to discuss from the night.
