My husband and I couldn't have been happier with Megan's service as our birth doula! We found her through a mutual friend's recommendation and would highly recommend her to others! Megan was so friendly and supportive and very well informed. We felt comfortable with her immediately and she really vibed well with our own personalities and approach to our birth. We were planning for a regular vaginal birth for our singleton but ended up pivoting to a scheduled c-section when baby grew to a large size with a very large head. We still wanted Megan with us at the cesarean and she did a lot to help keep my husband calm while I was being prepped for the peocedure. She was there with us in the operating room and stayed with us through recovery and getting settled into our post-birth room. She even picked up some sriracha for my husband (at our request) to help spice up the hospital food.
Megan was truly all around a delight to work with and so incredibly helpful and supportive even when our plans changed!

We had a great experience with Megan. This was my second and we had an ok, but not great, experience with our first doula. Our first doula mostly just seemed like yet another person who was there along with all the nurses and doctors, and she didn't add much. For our second experience we tried harder to find a doula that seemed like a good fit for us and someone who we thought would make a real difference in the room. Megan was the right choice.
One thing we really valued is that Megan was non-judgmental of our birth plans. Every doula I've spoken with says they are open and supportive of different kinds of birth experiences but what some doulas that we have interacted with seem to mean is that they are open to preferences like home births, limited interventions, etc. and will tend to want to push you in those directions. I wanted a hospital birth with an epidural at a point of my chosing and generally wanted to follow all of the medical recommendations. I still wanted a doula because I thought that a good doula would help make the experience less stressful by being a consistent helpful presence and be able to provide non-medical recommendations (postures to try, etc.) that could complement medical strategies to make the birth smoother. Megan was the right doula for this. She worked well with the L&D nurses to help my labor go as smoothly as possible and helped enable my wife to be the best support person she could be.
My first labor experience ended with a c-section before I fully dilated, so my second birth experience was the first time I progressed to pushing. Megan was absolutely amazing at helping to coach through the pushing stage. There were also nurses, my wife, and doctors off and on, of course, but Megan was fantastic at coaching, helping me move in different positions, counting out loud for me, and working with my wife to make sure I had a never ending supply of water, apple juice, and cool cloths.

My husband and I hired Megan as our doula for the birth of our baby girl this past January, and we couldn’t recommend her enough!! I interviewed A TON of doulas because we moved mid pregnancy, so I actually interviewed doulas in two states. Megan was different from our first phone call. She was kind, passionate, and willing to go above and beyond to serve us. Megan was so sweet with check ins during pregnancy. She would always remember when I had my appointments which was so sweet. And I could text her with any questions, complaints, or cheers and she would always respond with so much care! Our prenatal appointments felt like hanging out with a friend, a very knowledgeable about all things birth friend :) then, when it came to having our baby, she was right there when we needed her. Our labor and delivery experience was very speedy (6 hours total) but I know she would have been in it for the long haul with us if she needed to be! She was wonderful at advocating for and reminding me of what I was hoping for once our baby was born and things slowed down. She even went back to our house to grab the car seat and drop off my placenta in our deep freeze!! Saved my husband a trip :) I would highly recommend Megan as a doula to all of my friends (I actually just did yesterday which is what reminded me I’ve forgotten to leave her a review!) I’m so grateful I found Megan, and feel pretty lucky to have made a new friend in her too ??

As first-time parents, we didn't really have an idea of what we were doing—and that’s where Megan stepped in. From the very beginning, she brought such calm, confidence, and care into our journey. Her support went above and beyond, considering she was going on 30 hours of no sleep from a previous birth. She was right there with us the whole way, never wavering, and always showing up with such dedication and heart.
It’s clear she’s doing what she loves—her passion and commitment are unmatched. She’s also a rolodex of knowledge and always had helpful links, tips, and resources to share, which made us feel empowered and prepared.
We can’t recommend her enough. If you’re new to this whole parenting thing and want someone truly in your corner, she’s the one.

Megan was everything my husband and I were hoping for when deciding on a doula for the birth of our daugther. Her calming presence, experience, and knowledge were so helpful through our whole journey. Our prenatal meetings were helpful in discussing and creating my birth preferences - a daunting task I could have done on my own, but was such a relief to have Megan guide us through it. She asked us about things I didn't even know were options for labor and delivery. This eased my mind so much as my due date got closer and gave my husband and I the confidence to know more and advocate for ourselves in L&D. During labor, Megan was the calming coach I knew I needed. She kept my husband and I aware of our options as labor progressed and made sure my birth preferences were incorportated, if possible. Megan supported me through delivery even with the small things like staying hydrated and making sure I got my Jersey Mike's sub ordered afterward :) She was our cheerleader the whole way and we would absolutely recommend Megan as a doula and have her with us again for another baby in the future!

I was seeking a doula for the birth of my first child because I was genuinely scared of giving birth. I really wanted someone who could give me the confidence I needed and calm my nerves. I wasn't sure how to go about finding a doula, so I just started setting up some virtual interviews with doulas using DoulaMatch. I liked Megan right away. She facilitated the conversation and really made me feel like she would take care of me. She was easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable.
During my birth Megan was very avaiable and came when things really started to get going. She was super supportive and it was nice having her there for my husband too. She just knows what to do. One of the nicest touches she brought was she set up a bath for me to relax and had brought a bunch of battery powered candles to add to the bathroom so I could turn the lights down and really focus on relaxing. I thougth that was super sweet.
I would highly recommend Megan for anyone looking for a great doula.

Megan was with us every step of the way. She made our unexpected transfer to the hospital less stressful and was a great advocate for what we wanted. She even brought some personal touches to help the hospital room feel more relaxing. Having her there to discuss the pros and cons of interventions as they were presented was extremely helpful. She was a key piece to helping us have a positive birth experience, even when plans had to shift. We highly recommend her!

Megan was so helpful in our preparations for labor and postpartum. We connected really well from the first time we met and she was always available to listen and provide as much support as she could. The pre-labor meetings were really helpful in getting mentally prepared and the postpartum meeting was a nice check in during the difficult first few weeks of parenthood. During labor, Megan was available the entire time we were at the hospital in labor and until we were comfortable after. She would have come to our house during early labor if we wanted. She provided a sense of calm during labor and helped us keep our loose labor plan in mind. She made sure our wishes were heard and definitely provided extra comfort during a vulnerable and challenging experience. We would recommend Megan to anyone looking for extra support during labor prep, labor and postpartum.
