I am a first time mom who was planning a homebirth in May 2026. I stumbled upon Brooke while causally considering the support of a doula and I'm so glad I did! Brooke was an invaluable support and sounding board during the challenges that I faced during my pregnancy and postpartum.

My birth didn't go to plan due to my baby being breech and myself having high blood pressure. This was intensely emotional for me as I had to make the decision to ultimately go to hospital for a cesarean section at 38 weeks, a complete change from my plans for a physiological homebirth. Brooke was there for me through it all, checking in and reaching out when I wasn't handling things very well emotionally. Without her empathy and her validating my feelings, I don't think I would have been able to process the situation as well as I did.

Brooke was also there for us in the hospital, making sure we ate, taking beautiful pictures of our son and helping my overwhelmed husband with some baby care tips while I was stuck in bed after surgery.

When it comes to our postpartum journey, we are pretty self sufficient but I was struggling with breastfeeding. Brooke solved our latching issue even when the hospitals lactation specialist could not. Her support with breastfeeding was invaluable and I owe her for our continued success!

As a first-time dad, I went into this experience feeling both excited and pretty nervous. Without family nearby or a “village” to rely on, the reality of becoming a parent felt overwhelming. A friend recommended looking into a postpartum doula—something I had never even heard of before—but I’m incredibly glad I took that advice.

After speaking with Brooke for the first time, I immediately felt at ease and confident in my decision to work with her. Learning that she had raised three children of her own really stood out to me—it gave me a sense of trust in her experience and understanding right from the start.

Brooke is clearly passionate about supporting parents. She genuinely cares about advocating for and educating both new and experienced parents on all aspects of birth and childcare. That passion shows in everything she does.

She played a huge role in helping me settle into my role as a new parent. Through her coaching and thoughtful recommendations, we were able to try different approaches and find what worked best for my baby. Instead of feeling lost, I felt guided and supported every step of the way.

Brooke also helped bring structure to our days, which made the entire “first-time parent” experience feel much less overwhelming. I initially only intended to have her support for 12 weeks; however, she added so much value as I navigated parenthood that I kept her on for an additional 8 weeks!

You can truly count on Brooke for her knowledge, experience, and reliability. Beyond that, she is a genuinely nurturing person, and that quality shines through in the care and support she provides. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for guidance and reassurance during the postpartum period.

Working with Brooke was one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. From the very beginning, she demonstrated a true wealth of knowledge about both pregnancy and postpartum, which gave me so much confidence as a first-time mom navigating all the unknowns.

What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared. She consistently checked in with me leading up to the birth, making sure I felt supported, informed, and prepared every step of the way. During labor and delivery, her presence was incredibly calming and reassuring—exactly what I needed in such an intense and emotional moment.

She also went above and beyond in ways I didn’t even expect. From taking my placenta to create placenta capsules to offering thoughtful recommendations and best practices without ever being judgmental, she made me feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. No question was ever too small, and she always answered my calls and texts promptly, which made a huge difference during those early postpartum days.

Most importantly, I fully trust her with my newborn—something that means everything to me. Her support didn’t stop after birth; she continued to show up in meaningful, reliable ways during postpartum care.

I would absolutely use her again for any future births and postpartum services, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable doula.

Added bonus was that she gave me the most beautiful and candid photos that she took during my in-hospital birth as well as a keepsake canvas art she made from an imprint of my placenta! My experience with Brooke was from January 2026.

Brooke was with me when I delivered my daughter on January 11, 2026. I'm a first time mom, so I was unsure of the entire process. She helped me from beginning to the end. With setting up my birth plan, during labor and delivery, and even came to check on us after we came home from the hospital. She helped me physically and emotionally in every way I needed. It was a great  experience having her by my side and one I will never forget

We were visiting family in Cleveland and used Brooke as our night time Doula for our 4 month old. She helped for 6 evenings and we are forever grateful. She was absolutely amazing. Our 4 month old was a premie and had some gas issues that resulted in very poor sleep. Brooke was so patient with her. She made sure that we were comfortable with her approach and even helped us brainstorm ideas to help our girl sleep better. She quickly learned our little ones needs and jumped right into helping her. She washed bottles and offered to fold laundry. Brooke had so much patience and was gentle with our girl. Best thing was, we got to sleep which was much needed while being out of our routine back home and having 2 other kids. 10/10 recommend Brooke!!

Brooke is an amazing doula!
Having her at the birth of our second daughter truly gave us peace and comfort. She not only assisted me throughout labor and delivery with position changes, essential oils, birthing combs, taking pictures etc., but supported my husband throughout the process as well.
I am forever grateful for the beautiful birth of my second daughter and Brooke played a huge part in making the experience everything we could have asked for and more!
Brooke is so passionate and it is clear through her dedication to her clients alongside caring for her family full time and working from home. Don't hesitate to book Brooke as your doula! She is wonderful. Thank you Brooke!

I used Brooke as a postpartum doula for our third child. I never used a postpartum doula in the past, so I was a little nervous about the process. The first time I talked to Brooke on the phone and then met her in person, she immediately put me at ease and had such a calming presence!  She is incredibly knowledgeable and provided great ideas, support and resources in the three months she worked with us. We will miss Brooke so much! She was a huge asset during those tough newborn nights!

Brooke was my doula for my oldest daughter 2 1/2 years ago. She was invaluable as both a friend and labor support. She was by my side through an incredibly long labor, anticipating every need that I had. She was there to help my husband have time to rest when he needed it, and she encouraged and advocated for me at my most vulnerable time. Besides my husband, she is the only other doula I would ever want to be beside me during my birth experiences. Brooke is compassionate, consistent, reliable, calm, and nurturing. She goes above and beyond to ensure that both mom and baby feel incredibly loved and cared for, and I would recommend her services to any mama in a heartbeat!

Brooke provided us with so much help as a postpartum doula, something I didn't know how much I needed until I really needed it! I remember texting her a few days after our baby was born to frantically ask her how to use a haaka, and she came over right away and showed me how, along with some other breastfeeding advice. Total life saver! In addtion, most of my family and closer friends don't live close by, and sometimes you just need someone to hold the baby while you take a shower or a nap, which I took advantage of alot when I was still on maternity leave but my husband returned to work. We had her over a couple of days every week for a while, which was such a huge help. Everyone says it takes a village to raise a baby, and she was definitely part of ours!
