I have had the pleasure of working closely with Portia as co-doula's with a couple of clients. Portia brings a wealth of knowledge with her, not only as a lacation peer counselor, but she also understand the process of birth, and is very in tune with what a mother needs in labor and responding to help calm and soothe her. Portia brings a calm, soothing, quietness to the room. She has experienced a full range of births and outcomes, an unmedicated vaginal delivery, a medicated vaginal delivery, a c-section, a v-bac, and has done a excellent job educating her clients, helping them advocate for their wishes, coaching dad's and supporting the moms. It's been a beautiful thing to witness. I've very thankful for the opportunity to get to mentor Portia as she was getting started. I hands down recommend Portia as a your Birth Doula of choice! 10/10 !!

Portia was absolutely amazing from the start. I was able to sit down with her and let her know what plans I had for my birth and she was there every step of the way including after birth for lactation help. I will use her again hands down.
