Ivy was an absolute lifeline in the early newborn weeks. She is a true expert with newborn babies and we immediately felt comfortable having her in our home. Those early weeks are so tough, even though this was our second baby, and Ivy provided not just the nighttime help we needed so that we could sleep, but real emotional support too.

I was breastfeeding, so we kept most feeds on the breast, and Ivy would give baby one bottle of pumped milk so I could get a bit of extra sleep. At night, she brought baby to me for feeds and then took her back afterward, which made it so much easier to rest. She was also very easy to communicate with if we wanted to try something new. She was happy to use our Huckleberry app so everything stayed tracked and consistent. She was flexible when we needed to add hours or extra nights when she was available, and our baby absolutely adored her.

We ended up extending her time with us by several weeks, and we were so sad to finally end our official time together. She truly became a part of our family. We are so grateful for Ivy and would recommend her wholeheartedly to any family looking for expert, warm postpartum support.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Ivy. From the very beginning, her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring, which made the entire process feel seamless. She was incredibly receptive to feedback and always adjusted thoughtfully based on our preferences, making her extremely easy to work with.

She has such a calm, patient, and steady temperament—exactly what you want during those early newborn nights. As first-time parents, we learned so much from her. She’s a fantastic teacher and explained things in a way that felt empowering rather than overwhelming.

She was always punctual, dependable, and consistently went above and beyond to be helpful. Having her support during my post-labor recovery was truly invaluable and allowed me to rest and heal while knowing our baby was in the best possible hands.

We are extremely happy to have had Ivy’s help caring for our newborn. Her professionalism, experience, and passion for the work was evident from the start of our initial interview all the way through to our final evening with her. As a night doula, she allowed us to catch up on rest and provided helpful tips for our baby’s feeding, sleep, and other routines. It is a lot to trust someone to come into your home for an extended period of time but Ivy put us at ease immediately. Would absolutely recommend her services to anyone looking for high-quality, reliable care.
