Our family worked with Isylah as a postpartum doula after the birth of our third child. We wish she had been with us after first two babies were born! Our family had complete comfort and confidence in her and benefited from the respite we got during overnights. She has a calming presence and really got to know our little one during the time she cared for him. She is a wonderful person and care provider!

I had the most phenomenal doula. Although I had applied for her services late, she quickly accepted me into her schedule without hesitation. From the beginning until the end, she was encouraging and offered me optimal support. Unbeknownst to me, having her there to assist me truly did feel like a blessing from God and the perfect fit because at first I thought I'd be doing this labor all alone. There were times during the process where I truly felt I have known her forever. She understood me intuitively, accommodated me and did everything to ensure I was not only comfortable but empowered.

The birth plan I created with her help, was followed to a T and she truly exceeded my expectations. She allowed me to see that I do have a voice worthy of acknowledgment in the hospital setting and affirmed that I am more than capable to do anything I put my mind to! If I had the chance at a home birth with her as my sole support system, I would undoubtedly do it that way. With her support a fast, painless, and serene birth experience is more than achievable. Her energy alone helped me to maintain a good mood and ground myself. The only I reason I say, "if", is because I did go into labor in a hospital and the nurses weren't nearly as great as Isylah, to say the least. Regardless, in the midst of chaos she was the calm. I felt so safe and trusted her judgement. Through her nature, I was reminded of God's immense love, support and guidance through every situation. With her aid, I gave birth in just 10 minutes with no complications and after all I can say, I feel amazing and completely satisfied. I have absolutely no regrets. I made the right choice having her by my side. I will truly cherish and hold dear to my heart those moments we shared! I am so thankful for the opportunity. God bless you-Octravia

Isylah was an absolute godsend for our family after we welcomed twins this spring! We are first time parents with a big learning curve going from 0 to 2 babies. Isylah made this transition incredibly smooth and comfortable for us, with her calming and supportive presence. Not only did she help us get some much needed sleep! (which wouldn't have otherwise been possible), but she taught us so much and used her expertise to help us navigate caring for two newborns at once with essential advice and tips that have helped us immensely. I cannot say enough good things about Isylah and highly recommend her! She is kind, experienced, warm, and I appreciated how much love she gave to our babies! I credit so much of my positive postpartum experience to her. If you have a newborn on the way, or are expecting twins like we did, you should definitely reach out to Isylah!

I had a wonderful experience with Isylah. She is warm, caring, understanding, and present. She let me know how much she was there for me and really was there for me. Although she couldn't be there for the birth of my child. She stayed in touch with me whole time. Unfortunately she was not allowed to be present for my c section. To say Isylah is on top of things is understatement. There was a birth plan and perfences she made sure were in place. Always made me feel reassured and safe. Never once did she make me question myself or her. I would choose her all over again to be my doula. Thank you Isylah.

We had the privilege of working with Isylah for three months, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She was incredible! Not only in the loving care and attention she gave to our son but also in the invaluable support she provided me during those early, often challenging weeks of having a newborn.

Isylah always had the best advice, tailored to our specific needs, and she was such an attentive listener. She truly understood the emotional and physical demands of this stage of life. Her kindness and wealth of expertise were a constant source of reassurance.

What made her stand out even more was her warmth. She always greeted us with a smile and had a calming presence that made us feel like everything was going to be okay, no matter how overwhelming things felt at times. She not only helped us navigate life with a newborn but also helped build my confidence as a parent.

I had the incredible fortune of meeting Isylah less than two weeks before my due date, which turned out to be 16 days sooner than expected. As a mother having my second child two decades after my first, I was filled with a crazy amount of anxiety. The uncertainty of being induced because the doctors couldn't determine when my water broke only added to my nervousness. Her calming presence and reassuring words throughout that process was exactly what I needed.

From the moment I met Isylah, she made me feel at ease. She offered constant encouragement, assuring me that everything would be okay. Her support was a blessing during my labor and has continued to be so for the past two months since giving birth.

She has been a voice of reason, a source of encouragement, and a calm in the midst of a temporary storm. Her genuine care for the families she serves is evident in everything she does. Personal POV: This isn't just a job for her; she really does care about the well-being of those she supports. I feel like I have gained a big sister for life, and I am beyond grateful for her.

Isylah was an incredible advocate during my hospital delivery. She became my voice when I felt vulnerable and spoke up for me when I couldn’t. Her emotional and physical support was invaluable—she helped me find comfortable positions and encouraged movements that eased my labor.

She also went above and beyond in helping me create my birth plan, taking the time to educate me on important details I might not have known as a first-time mom. Her guidance made me feel confident and prepared. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better partner in my birth experience.

This being my first pregnancy I didn't really know what to expect or what I was looking for in a midwife or Doula. All I know is that I wanted someone that would support my decisions, to be extra help in the delivery room, be an advocate for me when I wasn't able to speak for myself, and to inform me of things that I didn't know. Isylah did all of those things and then some. She exceeded all of my expectations. Not only is she a kind and gentle soul, but she is powerful and knowledgeable. I was in labor for a long time and when Isylah came, she asked the questions neither I or my partner thought to ask. She tried very hard to stick to my birth plan because it was important to me whilst also keeping me and my baby safe. When it came time to make the decision on how I would deliver, it was her support that helped me realize that I was doing the right thing and the safe thing for me and my baby in that moment. She made me feel heard in a stressful and scary situation. I am 2 weeks post partum currently and she checks in with me regularly and answers any and all questions I have. As an anxious first time mom, she is a godsend. I am very grateful for Isylah.

Isylah was an absolute gift to our family. She put us all at ease as soon as we met her and each member of our household felt well taken care of and in good hands. As a mom, I slept deeply knowing that my new son was being so gently and lovingly cared for. We are so grateful to Isylah and can't wait until we have our next child so that we can be with her again!
