Choosing to work with Chrystal was one of the best choices we made as we prepped for our son's birth. I appreciated how she reached out multiple times in the weeks leading up to the birth. At the hospital, she was such a great support for me and my husband. She was positive and encouraging. She diffused some of the nervousness and uncertainty we were experiencing. She helped us understand the process better and gave us information to assist us in making decisions. Even though Chrystal couldn't stay until the end (it was a long labor!), she arranged for another doula to come for the remainder of labor. I will always appreciate how Chrystal went above and beyond to support us in a challenging time!

I had so many expectations going into birth and they were all negative. Chrystal met with us a few days before my induction and helped ease some fears - especially around logistics. Her confidence in the process of labor and experience at Rose helped reduce my fears a lot. Having a doula felt like the best way for me to have support and help my partner be helpful during the experience. That was exactly how things went with Chrystal. Chrystal was a very calming presence in the delivery room and I remember looking to her multiple times while she was counting my pushes and just feeling relaxed that she was in the room. My birth happened fairly quickly, especially as someone doing it the first time, and I wish a Chrystal was there longer - but also not going to complain about it going quick! I still remember the post birth mocktail she made me in the hospital and crave it at times. My husband really appreciated her being so positive throughout the birth and taking photos so we have the memories. Finally, Chrystal checked on me often before giving birth and had continued to be someone who checks on me often postpartum!

Chrystal was amazing! She was supportive throughout the whole process and explained a lot of the seemingly scary medical terminology to me. It was really nice to have her as an advocate in the birthing room with my spouse and I.

I truly can’t imagine my labor and delivery without Chrystal! From the very beginning, she made me feel understood and completely supported. Her calm, caring presence brought so much confidence and peace to one of the most meaningful days of my life when we met our daughter.

She took the time to truly understand what mattered to me, which allowed my husband and me to have the exact birth experience we hoped for. I wanted a low-intervention hospital birth, and she helped make that possible while empowering my husband to support me in the best way.

It was such a magical experience and even more than 6 months postpartum, she still checks in. If we have another baby, Chrystal will be one of the first people we will call!

We were very fortunate to have Chrystal as part of our birthing experience. She had a great sense of when to step in and be involved and when to step back and let things unfold naturally. She was always very responsive throughout the pregnancy. Most importantly, she was a strong advocate for my wife during the birthing process and clearly had a great relationship with all of the nurses involved.

Working with Chrystal as my doula was one of the best decisions I made going into birth. I don't have a mom that can be in the room with me and I wanted someone there who could be a steady support. It felt like she truly understood what I needed, when I needed it.

What stood out most was how hands on she was. She was not just there in the background, she was actively present during birth. It felt like I had someone in my corner who knew exactly what to do so I wasn't just waiting around during the worst parts of labor.

She also supported my partner in such an important way. She helped guide him on how to support me, which gave him confidence and allowed him to be more present during the experience. That made a huge difference for both of us and made everything feel more grounded and less overwhelming.

I felt very cared for throughout the entire process and I am so grateful to have had her by my side.

I am so grateful to have had Chrystal present for my labor and delivery! I truly didn't sweat the little or big things, because I trusted and knew that she had them covered. From hair ties, aromatherapy, and candles to pain reducing techniques; I knew she was prepared. Her confidence bolstered our confidence! I felt most grateful for her when it came time to push. Her voice was the one I grounded in when the multitude of medical voices frenzied around. Her participation in your birth would be a welcome one!

We truly couldn't have asked for a better doula! The biggest impact for us was all the prep work Chrystal did ahead of time. It made such a difference going into labor feeling informed and confident instead of overwhelmed. She walked us through everything: pain management options, different labor positions, how my partner could support me, what pushing might look like, etc. It never felt rushed, and she always made sure we understood our options so we could make informed decisions. She also reminded me during birth about what my preferences were from our prep work, but never pressured me to make a decision one way or the other.

Chrystal is also an incredible resource. Anytime I had a question, she seemed to have the perfect article or a quick reference guide ready to go ,which was so helpful when I didn't know where to start. 

Beyond that, she's just a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. Chrystal checked in often after birth and continued offering support in a way that felt natural and never overbearing. I truly enjoyed having her as part of our baby's birthday - not just as a doula, but as a friend during a really challenging time of life.

During the birth itself, she was also amazing - helping keep me comfortable, advocating for me, and translating what the doctors were saying so everything felt less overwhelming. One time we had a concern over baby's heartbeat, and she was able to explain the situation in a way that made a scary moment feel so much more manageable. 

We are so thankful to have had Chrystal by our side for such a major life moment, and we would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

In November 2025 my beautiful daughter Amanda came into the world and the whole pregnancy I asked God to allow me to have a non-medicated, respected and as physiological birth as possible. Thanks to the support that Chrystal gave me from my third trimester I was able to reposition my baby in the uterus for a vaginal delivery and learn to breathe correctly, a resource that changed the game during my delivery. During labor Chrystal assisted me with pain management techniques and I was able to have my baby without the need to use an epidural as I longed for. She made my husband and me a team, she made us feel safer and more accompanied. He also took photos of us that I will treasure forever, very beautiful. If I have another child I will want to count on her again. Do not hesitate to contact her.

From the very beginning, Chrystal was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us feel prepared for what to expect during labor. She taught me and my husband pain management techniques that made a real difference when the time came. When labor started, her calm and prepared presence was exactly what we needed. She checked in on me and explained what the medical professionals were doing to make sure we understood what was happening as first time parents. We are so grateful to have Chrystal as our doula.

My husband and I had a great and informative experience working with Chrystal. She was organized, affordable, and very kind throughout. We looked into a doula as this was our first baby and we really felt lost. Chrystal guided us to great information to allow us to make good well thought out decisions and supported us the whole way through. We had a wonderful experience with Chrystal!

She was so kind and supportive. We had no idea what we were getting into, and Chrystal had a wealth of information to help guide us on our  childbirth journey. She provided us with tools, handouts, and instructions for physical techniques to help with childbirth.

She was our advocate in the labor and delivery ward, and she was there to support us and explain what was going on/what our options were.

Chrystal is an incredible doula! I have known her for about a decade now and her brilliance and intelligence has always shown through. When she told me she was a doula, nothing sounded more fitting for the caring and thoughtful human that she is. I knew I had to have her with me during labor. In the months leading up to birth I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and my pregnancy anxiety was at an all time high. I would text Chrystal all my thoughts and worries. She always sent me articles to support any concerns I had.

Come day of labor, having Chrystal by my side is a memory I’ll cherish forever. She made me laugh when I was pushing and her overall presence gave me a sense of calm I needed in the delivery room. I couldn’t recommend her higher if I tried. She was born to care for others. A thoughtful, intelligent and compassionate human being. Thank you so much Chrystal!
