I am a Child Birth Educator in training currently engaged in my co teach with a lower mainland based prenatal organization. We provide classes on late pregnancy changes, labor expectations, pain management options, newborn procedures, early days of postpartum and breast feeding workshops & support. I was a previous live-in Nanny for several families around Germany and now spend my days as a Mama to my 21 month old son!
As a new Doula, I am flexible with payment and am happy to provide my services at a discounted rate for lower income families, single mothers, indigenous families, mum’s with little birth & pregnancy support, young mothers and/or families choosing adoption. Please reach out so I can support you! My Birth Package includes: •free in-person (or virtual) consultation •2 in-person prenatal visits, assistance with creating/writing a Birth Plan, discussing all aspects of labor & birth, pain management and immediate newborn procedures. •Upon hire, I am available by text/call/email for 24/7 support for you and your partner (or able to provide reliable, qualified back-up). •During labor I will provide continuous physical and emotional support, the use of my TENS machine, basic labor massage and Placenta Prints (should you be interested in that). •1 postpartum visits where I can provide breast feeding support/resources and a break so you can shower or nap!
