Taryn was so great to have as a doula, and will forever be my doula! My boyfriend and I both always say "We couldn't have done it without her". From answering questions before birth, to showing up at the hospital for us right away and staying with us till we were settled in postpartum. She was there! She helped me get through back labour and did everything in her power to make sure I had the birth I wanted. She went above and beyond when it came to helping me and I will never forget it. Her passion for being a doula shows so thank you Taryn, we are forever thankful for your help and support.

I had recently moved to the area and gave birth to my beautiful baby boy, my second after a tough pregnancy. My first had been born at very beginning of Covid and, due to lockdowns, I'd had zero support and suffered through an excruciating first few weeks as I struggled ti breastfeed.
Terrified and wishing desperately to succeed in nursing my newest little guy, and already experiencing painful nursing just after two days, I reached out to Taryn after seeing her advertised on our local community page. She immediately put me at ease, and while she (at the time) wasn't certified as a lactation consultant, visiting the very next morning with an associate who was. 

Thanks to Taryn I felt supported, confident, and much more assured that we were on the right track. She is a wonderful person and incredible doula that anyone would be lucky to have support them in their journey into parenthood.

Having Taryn with me through my pregnancy journey and birth made the scary moments easier. She makes you feel very supported and sets such a comfortable and relaxing environment to birth in. Anytime I had questions or concerns she was there to help. Even after getting home she was a huge help navigating life post patum. I will be hiring her again if needed in the future!!

Taryn was my doula from early on in my pregnancy, she was my #1 support system through every ache, pain and worry. We talked extensively on my birth plan, needs and preferences. She offered support on a personal and genuine level. My first birth and pregnancy was traumatic and Taryn made sure I could let out my worries and enjoy not only my pregnancy but also go into my birth experience feeling healed and prepared for anything. I had precipitous labour, so by the time we realized baby was coming it was too late for Taryn to make it for the birth. However, she talked with me about my birth experience and offered me extra postpartum support. We were lucky to have a whole day visit with Taryn after my daughter was born; during which she brought tea, played with my toddler so I could relax, brought groceries into my home and put them away, offered a listening ear for everything postpartum and helped my confidence in breastfeeding and 2 under 2. I could not have asked for a better experience with Taryn as my doula, her support and our conversations allowed me to confidently advocate for myself during a very quick and unmedicated labor experience!

Taryn has been an absolute blessing throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey. Her unwavering support and expertise as both a doula and a nurse brought an incredible sense of security to my home birth experience in February. Taryn's knowledge, combined with her compassionate care, made every step of the process more manageable and reassuring. Her continued support post-birth has been nothing short of amazing. I couldn't be more grateful for Taryn's exceptional skills and genuine commitment to her clients' well-being. Highly recommended!
