Post a testimonial for Christie Williams

If you’re questioning whether a doula is worth the financial commitment...... there is no question about it.
Christie made the most uncertain day of my life the most beautiful day of my life to date. As labor progressed, Christie coached and lovingly guided me through every wave of contractions. She helped me into optimal positions to labor our girl down (which even helped me to encourage a possibly OP baby into the right position) while always honoring my intuition and allowing me to move however my body needed. Her expertise was so evident, she somehow knew exactly when a change was about to happen. She would gently prepare me when sensations were about to intensify, and without fail, they did! That preparation alone made such a difference mentally and emotionally.
She worked seamlessly with my husband, supporting him just as much as she supported me, helping him to recognize my needs in each stage.
Not only was Christie my birth doula, but she also teaches the Bradley Method (husband-coached childbirth) classes that prepared me for an unmedicated birth. My husband and I came into this with nopositive examples of unmedicated birth from my family and friends; only fear and doubt. Christie’s class helped me prepare for the unknown and, most importantly, equipped my husband to be the best birthing partner I could have ever asked for. He was confident, calm, informed, and completely present and that is 100% thanks to her teaching and guidance.
Had we not had Christie as both our teacher and our doula, my first birth could have looked completely different.
Thank you, Christie, for helping me see the beauty in birth, for your incredible level of care and empathy, and for helping me find the power that was already within me. I am forever grateful!

Christie was there both physically and over the phone for every difficult decision we had to make during our emergency induction. I truly believe it was through what I was taught through her Bradley classes and labor preparation that allowed my body to bring my son into the world as naturally as possible. Labor is so unpredictable, but with Christie's help, we were able to make informed decisions one step at a time, and still had a beautiful delivery even with all the twists and turns.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christie and the role she played in our birth experience. I had a long and challenging labor with an OP baby that ultimately ended in a C-section — something we hadn’t planned for. Throughout it all, Christie was an incredible source of strength, calm, and knowledge.
She seemed to know exactly what stage I was in before anyone else did, and her tips and techniques made such a difference as we worked through each contraction. She supported not only me but my husband as well, helping him stay involved and confident in how to best support me.
Even when our birth plan changed completely, Christie adapted seamlessly and guided us through every obstacle with grace and reassurance. Her presence made all the difference, and I truly can’t imagine having gone through this experience without her.
We absolutely love Christie and will, without a doubt, have her by our side for any future births.

When we found out we were pregnant with our first, it was important to us to have a strong birth team to guide us through not only labor, but our pregnancy too. Christie was referred to us by a friend and from our first phone call with her we understood why she was so loved and highly recommended. Christie is personable, genuine, warm, such a calming spirit, a Christian, and cares tremendously for you, your baby, and your family unit as a whole. She was available for any advice or guidance I needed through pregnancy, instructed us through The Bradley Method which prepared us so well, and was the calm presence and soothing voice I needed to stay focused in labor. Whether you're planning to birth your baby at home, at a birth center, or in a hospital, Christie will undoubtedly serve you and prepare you for your ideal birth and any unexpected scenarios along the way. She is a big reason I was able to have a successful unmedicated home birth. We can't thank Christie enough for her care and helping us bring our daughter into this world. There are some people who are just so clearly in the field they are called to and meant to be in. Christie is without a doubt living out her calling. You will be in the best hands choosing her to be your doula.

My birth didn't go as planned. And my husband and I are beyond grateful to have had Christie there. Without her guidance things would have turned out VERY differently and a lot harder. I can not say enough wonderful things about her and highly recommend her. If you want a doula, someone in your corner, who knows what they are doing, choose Christie. Her character, talent, and faith in the Lord makes her the perfect person to help guide your family through the birthing process. We love her and will always be forever grateful to her.

I truly don’t know how I would’ve made it through my pregnancy and birth without Christie. From the very beginning, she gently guided me through every step of pregnancy with compassion, wisdom, and reassurance. She helped me feel informed and empowered, especially when I was overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice online. Her knowledge was a calming anchor in the chaos.During labor, she was an absolute rock. Not only did she support me through the intensity of birth, but she also helped my husband feel confident and involved—something that meant so much to both of us. Her presence made the entire experience feel less scary and more human.Even after the birth, Christie continued to check in on us, making sure we were okay emotionally and physically, and she connected us to so many other helpful resources. The level of care she gave us extended far beyond the delivery room. When she left the hospital after my birth, I actually cried—I felt so connected to her. She wasn’t just a doula; she became a truly essential part of one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I cannot recommend Christie enough.

My husband and I were initially recommended by our midwife to take Christie’s Bradley class. Since we were looking for a doula at the time, we decided to ask if she had any availability around our due date, and thankfully she did. I don’t know how we would have done it without her.
She came to our house twice for prenatal visits, taking time during those visits to answer all of our questions and concerns, as well as give us helpful tips and advice. I really appreciated her natural and holistic approach. When I went into early labor, she was very calm and reassuring, encouraging me to rest and hydrate as much as possible. Later on, when things got a little more intense, she came to our house and provided counter pressure and position suggestions, as well as gentle encouragement through each contraction. She also was a huge help to my husband, coaching him on how best to help me, without interfering in his role as my primary support person. She even managed to get a few pictures, which I really appreciated later. After the birth, I ended up having to make a trip to the hospital for some stitches, and even though she was running on barely 3 hours of sleep, she accompanied us to the hospital to make sure everything went smoothly. We would highly recommend Christie to anyone looking for a doula, and definitely won’t hesitate to ask her to be our doula for our next baby!

Christie is an incredible doula. My husband and I originally took Bradley Method classes with her - not initially planning to hire a doula, but it quickly became clear that her experience and calm wisdom would be invaluable during labor. As educators, we joked it was like having the teacher take the final exam with us. But that comparison falls short, because what we found in Christie was far more personal and profound.
From the start, Christie was warm, grounded, and present. She visited us at home ahead of our due date, helping us plan through different birth scenarios and making us feel at ease. She was also instrumental in helping us write and review our birth plan. We were especially touched to learn she shared our faith-based values and would be praying for us through our son’s arrival.
Throughout pregnancy, Christie was always accessible - ready with a listening ear, trusted insight, and helpful resources. When labor began, she arrived at our home with a quiet, confident energy that helped me stay grounded and labor at home as long as possible, allowing both my husband and I to rest before heading to the hospital.
In labor, she offered counterpressure, words of affirmation, and suggestions for different laboring positions - everything before we even thought to ask. She supported my husband and me in laboring together, just as we’d hoped. And at the hospital, I knew we had an advocate in the room with us - someone who could help us navigate the unknowns while honoring our choices. I felt truly seen, safe, and supported in every moment.
After the birth, my OB said she’s worked with many doulas, but Christie was phenomenal. We couldn’t agree more. We truly couldn’t have done it without her. To say everyone needs a doula wouldn’t be quite right - instead, we believe everyone needs a Christie.

Christie initially served as our Bradley Method instructor, and from the very beginning, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate she was. My husband and I felt empowered and confident under her guidance, and we knew we wanted her by our side as our doula to support us through the natural, unmedicated birth we were hoping for.
At 38 weeks, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with cholestasis of pregnancy and preeclampsia, and my birth plan shifted dramatically—I had to be induced. Christie was incredibly responsive during this stressful time, answering calls and texts as I navigated urgent decisions about where to deliver and what my options were.
My induction lasted four days, and Christie was there for the majority of it. She visited me during the early stages of labor, remained available via text and phone, and once things progressed, she stayed by my side for over 24 hours. She and my husband truly tag-teamed coaching me through every wave of labor. Because of her support, expertise, and calm presence, I was able to achieve the unmedicated birth I had hoped for—even in a hospital induction setting.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I could not have done it without her. I wholeheartedly recommend Christie as both a Bradley Method instructor and a doula to anyone hoping for a natural, physiological birth.

We absolutely loved working with Christie! Our little girl is my and my husband's first child and we didn't know anything about labor, delivery, or what to expect postpartum. Christie helped walk us through expectations, preparation, and answered all of our many questions. Christie was so helpful in the hospital and postpartum too. My birth was fairly abnormal and having Christie there to help guide us through the labor and also give us a full picture of the decisions we needed to make was wonderful. It's so evident how deeply Christie cares about each family she works with. She's kind, loving, and remains calm even in hard situations. We would absolutely love to work with Christie again when we, Lord willing, have another child!

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Christie. From the moment we first connected, she took the time to genuinely get to know me, my husband, and our hopes for our birth experience. She understood how important it was to us to have a natural, faith-centered birth, and she honored that every step of the way.
Christie walked with us through so much. When we faced pushback from the hospital, she never wavered. Her calm presence, encouragement, and knowledge gave us the strength to hold firm to what we believed in. She reminded us of our values, of God’s design for birth, and helped us feel confident and supported—even in the most intense and vulnerable moments.
She helped us shape a birth plan that reflected our heart and intentions, and then stood beside us to protect it when it mattered most. She offered insight when we were unsure, comfort when we needed reassurance, and such beautiful support that I felt empowered and deeply at peace bringing our daughter into the world.
Christie wasn’t just a doula, she became a part of our birth story in a way I will always treasure. She will absolutely be the first person I reach out to when we are blessed with another baby. I can’t imagine doing this without her.
If you are looking for someone who will honor your values, respect your wishes, support your family with grace and wisdom, and keep you grounded in faith, Christie is that person.

When my husband and I got pregnant with our first baby, we desired to have an unmediated birth with as little medical interventions as safely possible. The the intentions of having a homebirth, we were recommended Christie by our midwife. We unexpectedly switched to having a hospital birth plan at 36 weeks and Christie provided support and knowledge throughout the entire process. My water broke at 40 weeks 5 days and Christie walked my husband and I through birthing positions to engage baby fully into the pelvis so that contractions would be more productive, toward the end goal of having baby arrive safely. As I labored my baby down, while in the comfort of my own home, with the support of my husband, mother and Christie, we arrived at the hospital at 10 cm dilated and 0 station. My unmediated birth became a reality and I could bot imagine accomplishing this goal without Christie by our side. Her unwavering support, education and advocacy is what helped our dreams of welcoming our baby boy, according to our birth plan and God's plan, come true!
Not only was Christie a WONDERFUL support to us throughout our 2nd, 3rd and 4th (early postpartum days) trimester, she provided unmatched information throughout her offered Bradley Birth Classes. Christie is knowledgeable, patient, supportive, kind and knows when to advocate. We say often that her doula services proved to be "priceless". She has a gift for assisting with birth and that has shown to be undeniable throughout our birth process and welcoming our newborn!

We can't imagine going through our pregnancy and labor without Christie being a part of it. She is full of knowledge, rich experience, and passion for all involved in a birth team. Christie was easily available and took time to answer our questions each step of the way. We knowledge on birth and labor is extent! As a first time mom, both physically and emotionally, Christie was a huge support. She handled my fears with great sensitivity and brought a sense of peace to the delivery room. She was there encouraging us to advocate for our daughter before she was even born. Her questions helped us think through what kind of family we will have and how we will parent. The delivery of our daughter was such a significant and holy experience . I'm so grateful Christie was there to be a part of it. Can't recommend her enough!!
3/11/2025
Christie was the perfect calming and encouraging presence that I needed during my labor and delivery. I absolutely would not have achieved the amazing birth that I did without her. Having her as our Doula was the best decision we made and I hope to have her there for all of my future births to come!

My husband and I heavily debated whether or not to hire a doula. But as we’ve reflected on our experience, sitting with our 3 week old son, we cannot imagine having done this without Christie. Pre-birth, we took the Bradley Method classes with her and we were immediately able to put things into practice to help prepare physically and mentally for birth. When labor started, she was able to coach me through contractions and how to keep making progress. This turned out to be essential for my labor to move forward. She also was great at coaching my husband to support me throughout labor and birth, always being available but also giving us the space we needed with just each other. Because of the relationship we built pre-birth, we felt confident she knew what we wanted and could advocate for us and guide as accordingly. Throughout the entire process, she has empowered us with knowledge and encouraged us and our abilities to give birth and parent our little boy. It’s so evident that Christie cares deeply for us and wants what’s best for us. I cannot recommend her enough!

Christie is fantastic from beginning to end. She spent time getting to understand our desires and proving her care from the start. Once labor began, we did not have the strength to follow through on our own plans. Christie was there to coach, encourage and guide us through a very challenging labor and stayed overnight with us through the process. Although we ended up receiving our child through c-section (not original plan) Christie was able to bring hope and experience into the room for us first time parents. After our child's arrival, Christie followed up to check in regarding feeding and was a wonderful support during an overwhelming time. We are very thankful that we invited Christie into this delicate process with us, as she has served us with genuine care and professionalism. I would like to add that the hospital/OB team showed much respect toward Christie throughout our labor journey, which speaks to her expertise in the labor/delivery room.

When I got pregnant I was so excited, but absolutely terrified of giving birth. I knew I wanted to hire a doula and I am SO thankful I did! When I found Christie I knew immediately in my heart she was the one for me. She ultimately eliminated all of my fears and gave me the confidence I needed to make it through labor. Her experience and knowledge are second to none and she was by my side every step of the way - guiding me and my husband through it all. In the end, we had the beautiful and natural birth we really wanted.
I highly recommend taking Christie’s Bradley Method class as well, we are so glad we did! Not only did that educate us about pregnancy and labor, it also allowed us to really get to know Christie and establish a strong bond of trust over the course of those 12 weeks. As I sit here with my sweet baby girl in my arms I can’t help but beam with joy when I think back to how great pregnancy and birth went, and I truly believe Christie played a huge part in that. I promise you, you will not regret hiring Christie. I would do it a thousand times over, without question. She is absolutely the one you want in your corner during this journey.

"Christie Williams was honestly the best support I could have asked for during my pregnancy and birth. She was there with me every step of the way, answering all my questions (even the silly ones!) and making me feel so comfortable and confident. When it came time for labor, she was a total rock—calm, caring, and just knew exactly what I needed when I needed it.
Having Christie around felt like having a really knowledgeable best friend who just *gets* it. Even after the baby arrived, she stayed in touch, checked in, and gave me advice that made those first days so much easier. I’m so grateful for her support and would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula who truly cares."

I started researching doulas early in my 3rd trimester due to feeling the desire to have someone in my corner during late pregnancy to help me achieve a VBAC. I found Christie and after having an initial conversation with her I knew she would be a great fit. She offered advice and options to discuss with my providers before and after my prenatal appointments so I always felt like I was making good decisions and in control of my birth. During my labor Christie guided me through what I was feeling and offered ways for my husband and I to get through some of the harder parts of it. I believe that her support led me to an unmedicated labor and delivery. After birth Christie made sure my husband and I ate a good meal and once again made sure I was asking my providers the right questions making sure I spent minimal time recovering in the hospital. If you are considering a doula for pregnancy and labor support, please consider working with Christie!

Anyone would agree that laboring is a very intimate & vulnerable experiecne. It's so important to have someone you trust & enjoy by your side. Christie hit all the marks for us. She is a mom, a former nurse and a Bradley Birth coach. Talkabout the trifecta of L&D knowledge! She was able to guide me in so many ways! As a mom herself, I found comfort in the fact that she personally knew the process, the pain and achievement of what I was going through during labor. Her medical background gave her the ability to speak to things some doula's might not be able to fully. She could really explain things in laymens terms. Since I do not have really any medical knowledge, I struggled with understanding the definitions, risk and benefits and needs vs wants of certain western medical practices. Christie's love is profound. Her passion for her mama's &the birthing process is intense. Its exactly the kind of intsenity you want! When Christie reaches out to check on you - it wasn't just about the pregnancy process but to check on YOU&your overall wellbeing. Her ability to connect w/ me through labor really helped me stay focused &confident. I found her to be the 1st person I wanted to reach out to before, during & after the labor process. In addition, one of the characteristics I loved about Christie was her ability to read a room, & speak confidently yet, politely to staff. Christie has a true ability to advocate for you because she can read faces without even having to ask for help. She's intune with her mama's and she was a beautiful & elogent way of being able to process that information and share it professionally with the medical staff to ensure they're honoroing your wishes and making you the most comfortable.
I wish I could hire Christie for every mama to be I know. She was an amazing part of our birth experince and I wouldn't ever want to do it without her.

Finding Christie was nothing short of an answered prayer. I had been going through the list of doulas online and saw Christie’s name. I knew as soon as I read her bio I needed to reach out to her. Christie answered the first time I called, and after having our first conservation I felt such comfort in knowing that she was going to be our doula. She was the perfect match for my family.
Christie was there with us through all the steps in preparing for the arrival of our baby from birth plans, OB visits, unplanned medical issues, emotional support, and tons of questions. We even took the Bradley Method course from Christie which I highly recommend. By the time our little one was set to make his arrival we were as prepared as I think first time parents could be.
When labor began, Christie was by our side coaching and encouraging me throughout the entire process. Christie’s support never wavered even with ever changing events that can come along with labor. I know my husband sure appreciates that she was there to help us navigate all the unknowns.
This testimonial truly does not do Christie justice. She has exceeded our expectations with her coaching, support, encouragement, and knowledge. The experience we have had with her has been a true blessing to our family and one that we will forever be thankful for.
To all the future moms and dads out there, just know that Christie will treat you and your family like her own and will be there with you throughout this amazing journey every step of the way!

My husband and I hired Christie based off a recommendation from a friend, and she far exceeded our expectations. We interviewed other doulas, but chose Christie. And I'm so thankful that we did.
Upon our first meeting we connected and I knew I wanted her to be by my side during childbirth. Her knowledge, wisdom, experience both as a doula and from her our childbirthing experience, her love, her willingness to support us from beginning to end, are just a few of the reasons we are thankful for Christie.
I wanted a natural birth without interventions. And like most births mine didn't go as planned. I had to be induced and my daughter was sunny side up. I was so proud of myself for making it to 8cm without interventions, but I would have never been able to go that far without Christie.
I love that she helped us prepare mentally, physically and spiritually. I personally loved her knowledge of aromatherapy and oils as they have been very beneficial for me before during and after.
We recommend her to everyone we know, and will continue to do so.

Christie did an amazing job to prepare my husband and I how to best navigate not only the physical and mental aspects of childbirth but also how to make educated decisions when your birth plan doesn't go as planned. With a combination of Christie's medical background and her natural minded ways, we are so thankful for what we learned.
Christie--thank you for everything! From your knowledge to helping us create a birth plan, you made a first time mom and dad so comfortable even through delivery and we could not have done it without you!

About two months ago my husband and I came to Christie with an unusual request-- could she assist us with a VBAC after 5 c-sections? I was relieved to hear that Christie was open and interested, but, more importantly, that she took the request to prayer and reflected on it. I knew right away that she was a thoughtful, intentional, and faith-filled person. Now we are on the other side of our successful VBA5C and I can say that Christie played a huge role in that success-- from navigating the pre-birth discussions with the hospital, to fine-tuning baby's positioning after days of prodromal labor, to encouraging us during the various difficulties and discouragements of labor itself. I believe that having a doula can make a huge difference for a laboring mother's physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being-- and Christie is a fantastic choice!
