I cannot say enough good things about Kate. She was a constant source of strength and support during my labor, especially when my birth plan changed, and I had to transition to the hospital for an induction. This was a very emotional shift for me, and Kate was the perfect balance of calm, cool, and collected while also being strong and assertive when I needed an advocate.

She stayed longer than her 12-hour window, never once making me feel rushed. She was amazing at communicating with the nurses when issues arose and helped me stay grounded by reminding me of my birth plan and making helpful suggestions along the way.

When I had to be taken into emergency surgery after delivery, Kate was incredible at supporting my husband and baby during that time. I truly could not have done labor without her. Her knowledge, compassion, and ability to adapt to every situation made all the difference.

I would recommend Kate to anyone looking for a doula. She is everything you’d hope for, professional, kind, reassuring, and a true advocate for her clients.

Lauren was such a blessing to us during a prolonged labor and delivery. We had an induction for medical reasons and she knew the exact right time to be on her way to the hospital. As soon as she got there, she jumped right in to working with my husband and nurse to support me. For the next 24 hours, she stayed by my side, supporting me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. When I wanted to have an unmedicated birth, she fully supported my plan and did everything she could to get me to that goal. When I changed my mind and wanted to be medicated, she quickly adapted and helped me progress with creative re positioning to help advance labor. She stayed by my side all night, allowing my husband to get some rest, comforting me, and supporting every need I had. Having her present at our birth was such a blessing in our lives. My husband and I will always be so grateful to God for placing her in our path.

Lauren was an incredible doula for my first birth! I really wanted doula support to help me have a positive birth experience and was so relieved to have her as a part of my team after our initial consult. Lauren provided resources, went over my preferences, and explained her services. She was ready to go when my labor began and progressed quickly and jumped right in with her support tools. She was extremely helpful to my husband and mom throughout the labor as well, helping everyone engage in supporting me. She encouraged me with positive affirmations and provided compassionate follow-up after my baby arrived. Lauren is knowledgeable about birth and brings a calm, reassuring presence. I'm grateful for her service!

We hired Lauren for the birth of our third and final child, the only one that my wife wanted to do without an epidural. The amount of knowledge and preparation that Lauren brought to the experience was fantastic!

She came with a game plan, and multiple alternatives in case something went off the expectations. She was helpful leading up to the birth, in triage, and for the few days that we had been admitted to the hospital. We could ask questions, and she'd be able to provide information and reassurances that helped calm and ease our minds.

She was a person that my wife and I had in the room that we could rely on, without having to worry about offending or upsetting her, like we sometimes think about when having family present. Well after this experience, which my wife did amazing at and I would say did better than the two medicated births, Lauren really has made an impression and has been accepted into our new family!
