BIRTH DOULA SUPPORT includes: 70-page workbook, 2 prenatal visits to learn about you, & your feelings & preferences for your birth (discussions include coping strategies, labour options & preferences, feeding preparation, & postpartum planning), your doula & the Welcome Baby Co. team are on-call 24/7 for your birth from the moment you book, continuous support through your labour & delivery, from home & the hospital or birth centre, 2-3 hours of immediate postpartum assistance to help with feeding and getting settled with your baby, 1 post-birth check-in visit to ensure you are adjusting well, and answer any questions. Our POSTPARTUM DOULAS guide your family in your transition to parenthood by offering: feeding help, newborn care, an opportunity to rest & recover, sibling support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and connecting you with helpful resources. Every support visit your doula will inquire about the day’s goals, and how she can best support your family’s needs that shift.
