Rebecca was an incredible source of support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and birth. Even before labor began, simply knowing she would be there brought me so much peace of mind. She helped reduce so much of the anxiety leading up to birth, and because of her guidance, my husband and I felt well prepared without feeling like we needed a separate labor and delivery course.

When she arrived during labor, she immediately helped me become centered and present, always holding my goals and preferences while working collaboratively with my medical team. She had an exceptional ability to step forward exactly when I needed her and step back when appropriate, making her feel like a seamless part of my care team.

Throughout labor, Rebecca was my anchor. She coached me through every contraction and every push with calm confidence, helping me stay focused and connected to the process. Because of her support, I felt empowered, capable, and deeply cared for during one of the most important experiences of my life.

What makes Rebecca especially unique is the breadth of expertise she brings into the birth space. Her background in yoga, counseling, bodywork, and birth support allows her to care for the whole person. I wholeheartedly recommend Rebecca.

Rebecca is an absolute GEM! We cannot sing enough of her praises!

She takes the time to listen to what you want, and make a personal connection.

She has been there for us through the entire parenting process. She led prenatal yoga and offered lots of tips during pregnancy. She came to our home, which helped us feel confident and comfortable as we readied our space. Her extensive knowledge was calming and she helped us prepare.

Rebecca was a huge support during labor and beyond.  She was always there to answer questions and provide perspective when everything was brand new. She helped us with baby's first bath and integrating back into home life as parents.

We are so grateful for Rebecca! I HIGHLY recommend her.  She is family ?

Rebecca is an absolute gem of a doula and a person!

My mom passed away 7 years ago and I knew that I wanted a woman's presence while giving birth. I was also adamant on an unmedicated birth. And this is where Rebecca and her expertise came in.

Prior to my birth, Rebecca met not only with me, but with my husband as well to help prepare us both for what was to come (this was my first birth). I also had the chance to take prenatal yoga classes leading up to my birth too.

The day my water broke, I went to the hospital and Rebecca arrived shortly after. With the most calming yet high attentive presence. Without her advocating for me, I might've given birth in the triage room with 2 other ladies beside me. She also calmed my nerves and reassured me when I had one fleeting moment of doubt about whether or not I could actually continue laboring without an epidural. Her guidance with my husband in the room made the entire environment a peaceful and powerful one. I labored for 8 hours and my active labor was about 1 minute. And Rebecca made sure I bonded with my baby boy right away and also took the best pictures of us.

I'm planning on a second birth in the future and I have no doubt that Rebecca will be my doula again for that.

I actually don’t know how anyone gives birth WITHOUT Rebecca! Having been induced 3 weeks early, my birth was a little more complicated (and scary) than we’d “planned” for, so I was even more grateful to have Rebecca by our side. Prior to the birth, she met with my husband and I, she held space for us to express our frustrations and fears with zero judgement and then like the wizard that she is, gave us some tips and tools and left us feeling empowered and excited for the birth. She is a long time yoga teacher so her ability to work with, move with, breathe with, and intuit the body is nothing short of exceptional. I will never forget the way that she used massage and yoga to literally take my contractions from inconsistent jagged peaks and valleys to beautifully, consistent rhythmic waves and dare I say, enjoyable. Her egoless yet confident approach worked brilliantly within a staff of hospital doctors and nurses so that it always felt like we were all working together. And after our baby was born, Rebecca has continued to show her love and support and I know she is always a phone call away if I ever need her. Do yourself, your partner, you future baby a favor and get Rebecca by your side for this epic adventure you’re about to embark on!

Rebecca Benenati is the best of the best! Her approach is curious and professional, her instincts are spot on, and her keen navigation through stress and crisis is unmatched. She is also terrific at all family communication! My wife and I are very different people with very different needs and approaches to big events (like the birth of our son!) and Rebecca was able to see all angles and to meet everybody's needs. Lastly she is present and available- she goes above and beyond in every way.

Hiring Rebecca was, without question, one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. I hired her relatively late in the process with my first baby in February 2025, and going into labor I had no idea what to expect. I was especially nervous about all of the medical decisions that arise during labor and delivery, and I wanted someone knowledgeable and calm to help guide us through them.

Rebecca was our guiding light from start to finish. She brought an incredible sense of confidence, compassion, and clarity to every step of the experience. She helped us understand our options without ever making us feel pressured, and made sure every decision reflected my preferences and what I felt most comfortable with. Having her by our side allowed me to stay present and feel genuinely supported during one of the biggest moments of my life.

Looking back, I truly cannot imagine my birth experience without her. She helped make it as positive and empowering as possible, and I will always be grateful for her care, advocacy, and expertise. I recommend Rebecca wholeheartedly to any expecting parent, especially first-time moms who want an experienced, thoughtful partner by their side.

I truly can’t recommend Rebecca enough. From the moment we started working together, she made me feel informed, supported, and confident. During labor, she was an incredible calming presence, helping me stay grounded while also making sure my husband felt prepared and supported every step of the way.

She brought such a wealth of knowledge and experience, always taking the time to answer questions and offer thoughtful guidance. Even outside of labor, she generously shared her extensive network of trusted providers and resources whenever I needed recommendations.

My doctor recommended her, and I am so grateful they did. Although my birth didn’t go according to my original birth plan, she helped me navigate every unexpected turn with confidence and compassion. She was by my side as we pivoted, helping me understand my options and make decisions that felt right for me and my family.

I truly couldn’t have done it without her. Her support made all the difference, and I will always be grateful for the care, reassurance, and advocacy she provided throughout my birth experience.

Rebecca was such an incredible part of bringing our second baby into the world, and I truly can't imagine that experience without her.

From the moment she joined us I felt calmer, more confident, and completely supported. She knew exactly when to offer encouragement, when to step in with comfort measures, and when to simply be a steady, reassuring presence. Having someone who genuinely cared about me and my family made all the difference.

What makes Rebecca so special is that her care didn't stop after the birth. She continued to check in on me during postpartum, offering support, and making sure I was healing and adjusting well. As a mom recovering while caring for a newborn and another little one, those thoughtful acts meant more than I can put into words.

Rebecca has a gift for making you feel safe, seen, and deeply supported. She brings so much warmth, compassion, and wisdom to every interaction.

I don’t even know how to put into words what Rebecca means to our family. She’s a doula with decades of experience (she’s helped deliver thousands of babies), who also happens to be an advanced yoga teacher, so she knows bodies and pregnant bodies especially in a way that’s truly singular. (Also, do yourself a favor and take her Prenatal Yoga classes. You will be so thankful that you did.) But the main thing is that she’s so real and grounded in fact because she has so much experience, and also so relaxed and loving and confident, in the same breath. Birth is such unknown terrain — every labor is different, there are so many variables, so much you can’t predict — so having someone so informed who will tell you the truth about what’s happening and also support you practically with real, studied know-how is invaluable.

I had a vaginal birth with my first daughter, and then with my second, she was breech, and extra heavy, so we ended up with a scheduled C-section — two completely different journeys, and Rebecca was indispensable for both. With every twist and turn, she knew exactly how to guide me. Every top doctor and hospital in town knows her and has huge respect for her. It felt very clear that we were working with the best. Aside from her experience and her vibe, she has a depth of wisdom that gives you complete trust in her. I cannot imagine not having someone like her by my side in those moments. The stakes are so high and there are so many unknowns. Her presence was, for sure, the greatest contributing factor to my having had such satisfying labors — labor is hard, amazing, but hard, even in the best cases. I am so deeply grateful for her — we all are. She’s part of our family for good.

I’ve told every pregnant friend I have to work with her. I want them to feel what I felt. Work with her. You'll be so happy you did.

From the moment we first spoke with Rebecca, even just virtually, we could feel her empathy and genuine understanding of other people. We were also reassured by her depth of experience, the number of births she has attended, and the number of doulas she has trained. Rebecca is a true expert.

Rebecca helped me feel confident and prepared throughout the pregnancy. From texts between appointments, to helping figure out a game plan should I need to be induced and actions to take to entice baby to come on out. She continually gave me confidence and peace of mind heading into birth, so much so that I was so excited at every stage of labor. When my water broke, she was the first person I called.

She brought a calm, steady confidence into the labor room. Our nurse pulled us aside to ask how we had found her, and remarked that Rebecca was the best doula she had ever worked with.

Our relationship with Rebecca has continued well beyond the birth of our son. She has helped us with the baby and with early days of motherhood at our house. She is remarkably intuitive, often anticipating what I need before I realize it myself. As a newly postpartum mother, she has been an invaluable resource in helping me understand my own body and health, as well as my baby. We have also joined her parenting group, which has allowed us to connect with other families while continuing to learn from Rebecca about respectful parenting and staying true to ourselves as parents.

If you are considering a doula, know that Rebecca offers far more than support through birth. She is someone who you’ll want around you and your whole family, long after.

Rebecca was my doula for the birth of our first child. I am so thankful that I was referred to her prenatal yoga classes and immediately felt welcomed into the beautiful community of mamas that she created. Her warmth and care continued during the lead up to the delivery, where both my partner and I felt absolutely supported. Her presence in the delivery room was welcome and she helped guide my partner to be useful rather than irritating (iykyk) and even helped calm my mother's nerves. Her care continued post delivery with home visits and nutrition and wellness guidance and then evolved into our first mommy and me classes which are some of my fondest memories of those early days of babydom. I'd highly recommend Rebecca to anyone considering a birth doula. She is such a caring, knowledgeable and warm person you won't regret it!

When I became pregnant with twins at 42, I had a very specific dream: an unmedicated vaginal birth. I started listening to Dr. Berlin's podcast, and that's how I found Rebecca. She prepared us for birth, practicing labor positions during her visits and teaching my husband exactly how to support me throughout labor. Every appointment left us feeling more confident and excited. One of the most meaningful parts of our journey was my beautiful birthday and baby blessing ceremony.  I rarely celebrate my birthday with friends, but this felt so special. She planned & organized everything—every detail from rooftop yoga to a heartfelt baby blessing ceremony surrounded by my closest friends. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will cherish forever. As my due date approached, one of my twins wasn't turning into the right position. Even when things felt uncertain, Rebecca never lost faith. She supported me emotionally every step of the way, keeping me calm and hopeful. Then, what felt like a miracle happened—the baby turned, and my OB gave us the green light to proceed with the vaginal birth I had hoped for. My OB even told me it was one of the smoothest twin vaginal births that Saint John's Hospital had seen in years. These are just circumstances of my birth. But Rebecca's calm presence, Reiki energy work, massage, and steady encouragement helped me stay focused and filled with joy throughout labor. Rebecca captured beautiful photos & videos of our twins. Now, nearly three years later, my twins love asking to see those pictures. I will be forever grateful to Rebecca for guiding and supporting our family through one of the most unique, transformative, and extraordinary experiences of our lives. If you're considering a birth doula, I cannot recommend Rebecca highly enough.

The most kind, caring, attentive, and present doula we could have asked for. What a treat to work with someone who takes their work to the next level. We love Rebecca!!! And you will too.

Rebecca is amazing. I truly cannot imagine having gone through the experience of welcoming our first child without her. She has provided level-headed, compassionate, thorough guidance and advice from the moment we brought her on. I credit her with a) helping us avoid induction, b) making my labor experience smooth, uneventful, and unmedicated, c) providing my partner with the tools he needed to feel really involved and supportive, d) helping me stay grounded (and feel powerful/capable) in the early months of motherhood by giving poignant parenting advice. She's a dream and I am so grateful to have had her by my side from pregnancy thru delivery to the fourth trimester.

Rebecca was my doula for both of my pregnancies, and I can't imagine having gone through either one without her.

During both pregnancies, she was an incredible resource before, during, and after birth. In the months leading up to delivery, she was always reachable — whether I had a trivial question or needed a referral to a good doctor or chiropractor. Especially for my first pregnancy, having steady access to Rebecca helped ease my first-time mom anxiety.

When it came time to deliver, I wanted a vaginal birth, and my first labor didn't go smoothly — we were one push away from an emergency C-section. Rebecca stayed with me through it and helped me deliver vaginally. I don't say this lightly: I couldn't have done it without her.

The support didn't stop after birth. Postpartum, she was there for everything from breastfeeding questions to nutrition advice, and she's genuinely gifted as a parenting coach — I still use phrases with my kids that she taught me years ago.

My youngest is five now, and I still reach out to Rebecca when I need her. She's the best.
